This still seems to be a problem. I know it's on the list of things to be fixed, and I'm sure that it's considered a minor issue, but visible issues like this can tend to damage the image of a company (or service) if they happen over a prolonged period of time.

Overall, I'm less concerned about the bug itself and more concerned about Pownce's image.

Now it works, but it definitely feels like Pownce Monkey...it's much less usable than the older one...

This app is worse than the 1st one. I don't like Pownce Monkey, even if you remove the "Monkey".

I think this is a server-side problem, as opposed to the software - I just got the same issue when using Pownce Monkey. It was only temporary and is working again now. – coxy, on July 11, 2008 22:44

I uninstalled the previous version and installed the new one. Now every 3 minutes or so, it asks for the username and password. Clicking save password on keychain, doesn't help. Any ideas?

There are some different types of Pownce tools listed here: http://pownce.com/tools/ . However, I'm unsure if there's a "full app"-type tool not running on AIR at this time (would have to be developed by someone with our API). – Ariel Waldman, on July 03, 2008 22:32
