I can't change my user name.

I cannot change my user name on any Gawker site. I go to my profile, hit edit and the edit menu comes up. I change my information and press save, but my name never changes. My email, website, and quote changes, but not my name.

This colon in my current name is causing annoying html errors.

I can't change me name either, and with the new format filter, when people reply to me my names turns gray.

Cannot make a new comment in #tips without responding to somebody else. IT seems only stared commentors can do that.

They are in the middle of putting in some changes. You can tell by the http error. You are just getting a cache page.

I recently had my comments disabled because i was unfairly flocked into a group of jalopnik commenters and banned on my last visit to Jezebel. I really don't feel it's fair to ban somebody because they disagree about somebody being labeled beautiful. Is there a way to just ban people from certain parts of Gawker? It seems innapropriate that I was banned due to somebody's over sensitivity to body image. I am a female and feel I had every right to be on Jezebel.
