i think this would be a good idea also. although songbird has crashed everytime i have tried to play a mp3, i release it's still in development. i'm hanging out for cd ripping, album artwork downloading, id3 info downloading, vitalisations etc.. would also be nice if you could go download the lyrics. speaking of which, the current search for lyrics system (on my computer) was searching only the title of the song, not exactly specific enough to find what i was after!

FYI, as part of the Mozilla community we're in close communication w/ the Mozilla team. We've reached out to the Mozilla team to adopt/co-promote/distribute/etc. Songbird. We'll let you know how it goes.

In the meantime, you can help directly by promoting Songbird -- by blogging, twittering, digging, Facebook sharing, and by clicking "I Like This Idea" on this page. =)

maybe they are waiting for it to be as bug free as possible before they affiliate it with firefox, if it's not received well by some people it might reflect badly on other software by mozilla. (i'm not saying songbird isn't good ;) i'm loving it)

I noticed that this is actually a bug in the Address Book. It's combined random contacts all over the place. Lame.

For some reason Adium decided to auto-conbine all my contacts from address book combining mostly gmail accounts to the wrong contact.

Here's how to turn it off

Happened again today. Only this time it was personal information. This is a serious problem and should be your biggest priority.

I love adium, but I have to go back to iChat until this is fixed.

Yeah, I'm noticing some huge problems, as well...the most frustrating for me is the combined contact "improvement." I can't even keep the correct pictures for my contacts and all I can determine is it's linked to the combined contacts. It's very frustrating, especially when I love the program so much. Is there a download somewhere of the previous version?
