We have an (as far as I know undocumented) mini-version of Soup that you can embed using an iframe.

The Source URL for the IFrame is:

http:// USERNAME.soup.io/mini/IMAGE_WIDTH/POST_COUNT/?css=YOUR_STYLESHEET

IMAGE_WIDTH = Width of images and videos in pixels, should be a little bit smaller than the width of the iframe
POST_COUNT = The amount of posts that should be shown
YOUR_STYLESHEET = URL to the custom stylesheet for your page. This stylesheet should be hosted on your server.

For example, we use this on metalab.at. The URL there is:

http:// metalab.soup.io/mini/315/3/?css=http://www.metalab.at/media/stylesheets/soup_startpage.css

Let me know if that's a good enough explanation. Feel free to use the Metalab CSS as a starting point for your own.
