ahhh!
so, in my computer, when i go to seesmic.com and click on browse (after "upload"), the windows explorer window that opens only gives one option (for file format): "video files (mp4, flv)", and that's the reason of my question.
i would file this as a bug, asking your engineers to modify the html code of the upload/browse buttons, so users can see their gp3 and other video files when choosing what to upload.
Since I can upload other formats (.avi, .wmv) to flickr, my conclusion is that the issue is on the code of seesmic's upload page, and not in my PC.
thanks again!

hi mik, thanks for your reply.
i use a sony-ericsson walkman phone, but i do not use it to upload -- although i do use it to shoot videos.
if the m.seeismic.com page (for mobiles) supports all these formats (mp4, 3gp, mov, et cetera), why doesn't the web page (www.seesmic.com/app) do so as well?.
That was the origin of my question: my point and shoot camera (a casio) shoots .avi videos, windows video-maker delivers .wmv videos, and i want to be be able to upload them to seesmic (as well as those videos that i shoot with my phone, but want to upload from my computer).
if you compare to flickr, they support .avi, .wmv, gp3 and mp4, the most common formats.
if you ask me how did i upload my video to seesmic, it's crazy:
- record .avi video on point and shoot camera (casio);
- download video to my PC.
- upload .avi video to flickr (being careful --and geeky-- enough to set the creative commons copyright to public, so i can:
- download my video from flickr, now in .flv format!
creative, wasn't I? :-)
thanks again

What kind of phone model do you have? Our converter has problem with some Windows Mobile phones. The upload could handle several format like mp4, 3gp, mov, avi, flv, and others.
Try directly the uploader: http://m.seesmic.com/upload/
