A comment on the question "New pricing model" in Issuu:
Hey Jon -
Awesome - thanks for the reply. And I know you are :) that's exactly why I want to be able to support Issuu and have a pro account. I think what your team is doing is great. Keep up the hard work! – Mike Ambs, on September 15, 2009 15:14

Hey Issue team,
I'm not entirely sure what the *old* pricing structure was - and I'm sure the current $19 a month is a big improvement from before... but I'm curious if you have any plans to introduce different levels of pro accounts.
I can see if you're a magazine company and you publish online through Issuu, then yea, that's crazy affordable. Awesome. But for me... that's kinda' bat-crap crazy expensive :P
$19 isn't affordable, or even close to affordable, for someone who is a fan of your site and your service, and wants to pay into it to make sure it keeps existing.
Example: I pay $24 a *year* for a pro Flickr account, and I'd pay twice that because it's an amazing service. I pay $50 a *year* for a pro Vimeo account... which is for HD video, something that's much more intense then flash converted PDF files. I pay $45 a *year* for a pro Evernote account... and that is an amazing service that ties into almost everything I do on my laptop.
I know Issuu has a sexy interface and all... but, $19 a month? That's kinda a bit much for personal use. Company use, it's great. Personal use, not so much.
I dig your site a lot. I *want* to pay for a pro account - I want to support what you do. But I'm not a magazine company... I'm probably going to upload 15 PDFs a month max. You need a middle ground, in my humble opinion :P
Keep up the awesome work.

I was wondering the same thing... I feel like I can't get ahold of her to answer any of my questions. – Mike Ambs, on June 17, 2009 03:11

De/Re-Authorize Flickr? Why is there no de-authorize for my flickr sharing settings? I disabled it on my account, and now I need to re-enable it... but there is no link for this on Brightkite :(
Mike Ambs reported a problem in Washington Mutual on December 09, 2008 02:36:
Mangers blow off their customersCalled the bank three times today - was told the first time I would be called back shortly after they took my account info, security number, name and phone number. Never called. Two times I called back - I was told they were busy and would get back to me... now they are closed, and I waited the whole day for an answer that would have taken all of 4 minutes.
