That's certainly a way of doing what he's asked, but what you're really saying is "no, you can't do this - so create another wiki OR use another solution altogether".

Hi Mike,

A simple solution is to create a private wiki and upload your file there. You can post a link to the file in your wiki but only those who have been invited to that wiki can see the file.

Here's an example file from a private wiki:
http://support-test.pbwiki.com/f/EULA...

You won't be able to see it unless you log into my wiki.

Here's an example file from a public wiki:
http://newfaq20.pbwiki.com/f/Files.jpg

Anyone can see it.

How can you upload files that you do not want everyone to access? I want to put an excel file on the wiki that is private, and I only want a few people to access this file. If you go to the download area of the wiki, everyone can look at the file.

I have tried to reproduce this several times on my own wiki, and cannot make what you are describing to me happen.

I found that you put a table into the page. Then within each cell in the table, insert a picture. You can then size the picture within the table and this helps with the image moving around.
