Why didn't you say all this up front? And why do you suppose you saw all this and the engineers didn't? Are you suggesting that you are smarter than they are? If so, then the world IS doomed without Robdicks (since you've escalated to name-bashing) expertise.

For a company that in the past raised over 5 million in funding and just raised another 15 million it's a sad state when their poorly written API alows third party apps / services bring their service down. Limiting access to your infrastructure via an API and Network routing is NOT a hard thing to do. Fact is, the API needs a re-write, have you even looked at it? I have and it needs some major work to keep this from happening again. So Mikey, was this a smart enough comment for you? – Robert Basil, on May 24, 2008 15:49
