Help: I think PostRank is linked to the wrong blog!I just signed up. However, it looks like PostRank is pulling in data from an old blog site rather than my current one. How can I fix this? Also there is no engagement score, though I have had over 300 blog comments this week alone! I can't find any place to edit this.

Maybe I spoke too soon. The Twitter tab on my fan page is updating, but it is not updating the Wall. Can you take a look at it:

Thanks.

Salman,
I did a screen cast of my steps through this. I am still really stuck. Can you watch this and advise me? Thanks.

Can't reinstall Twitter for PagesI installed Twitter for Pages earlier today. It was all working fine. But, thinking I was uninstalling the Twitter Facebook app, I inadvertently (it seems) uninstalled Twitter for Pages. Now I can't get it back. When I try to do so, it doesn't give me my fan page as an option.
What do I need to do?

Thanks, Allan. I certainly understand the challenges of growth.
I personally don't think it's a good idea to leave them on the list. You need a better solution to survey your customers. You wasted 30 minutes of my time, frustrated me, and left a bad taste in my mouth for Less Accounting. And, by your own admission, you knew it wouldn't work, so I feel like an unwitting guinea pig in a marketing experiment.
I don't think this is consistent with the brand you are trying to build.

Can't Connect to First Tennessee BankI cannot connect to my First Tennessee Account. I have tried just about everything and am frustrated. Is this bank really supported? I can log-on through the bank with no problem whatsoever.

Beau,
This is very close. We're almost there. Thanks for your persistence.
I still see one anomaly. If you go to my home page here:
http://michaelhyatt.com
And scroll down to the post entitled, “Behind the Scenes: Thomas Nelson’s Quarterly Team Meetings." Right now it is the second post, but it will soon be the third one. Note that the comment bubble shows "0" comments. It flashes "15" but then gets overwritten with a "0."
If you click on the title and go to the detail page, the comments bubble show "15," which is the correct number.
I am using the exact same function to get the number:
"<?php comments_number('0', '1', '%'); ?>"
Any ideas on why this count would be different on the home page?
I am leaving SuperCache off until you've had a chance to look at this.
Thanks,
Mike

I have installed the ID beta, version 2.4. For your reference, I am viewing this page:
http://michaelhyatt.com/2009/07/book-...
I am using "<?php comments_number('0', '1', '%'); ?>" to get the comment count number that is next to the post title at the top of the page.
With ID deactivated, WordPress gives me a comment count of 575, both at the top of the page next to the post title and (if you scroll down to the actual comments) at the beginning of the actual comments. These are both in sync.
If I activate ID, then I get a comment of 688 at the top of the page next to the post title and 602 at the beginning of the actual comments. These are not only out of sync with each other but out of sync with WordPress. Something is clearly wrong.
In addition, you will notice the flash of the comment count number next to the post title when you first load the page. First, the WordPress comment count number is displayed, then, after a second or two, the ID comment count number is displayed.
Is there anything else I need to do on my end? I think this is confusing to my readers.

Mike replied on July 21, 2009 11:32 to the question "Can't get an accurate comment count" in IntenseDebate:
I found the word "Comments" in this function:
function id_get_comment_number( $comment_text ) {
global $post;
if ( get_option( "id_jsCommentLinks" ) == 0 ) {
$id = $post->ID;
$posttitle = urlencode( $post->post_title );
$posttime = urlencode( $post->post_date_gmt );
$postauthor = urlencode( get_author_name( $post->post_author ) );
$permalink = get_permalink( $id );
$permalinkEncoded = urlencode( $permalink );
return "$id" . __( 'Comments', 'intensedebate' ) . "$permalink$posttitle$posttime$postauthor";
} else {
return $comment_text;
}
}
If I change it to an empty string, it works, but there is stll an annoying flash. I am not sure why this has to be filtered any way.
Now I have to work on styling it.

Mike asked a question in IntenseDebate on July 19, 2009 23:44:
Can't get an accurate comment countI want to include the comment count at the top of each post in my WordPress blog. You can see it here:
http://michaelhyatt.com
I am using this code:
This places the comment count number on a graphic "bubble." So far, so good.
The problem is that the comment count number is slightly different than the actual number. It appears that the comment counts in WordPress and IntenseDebate are not syncing.
If I use the get_comments_link function or the comments_number function, it returns the correct number; however, the number looks like this: "Comments (27)," with the word "Comments" and the parenthesis around the number. I just want the number. (If you look at the design you will see why.)

I'd also like to know how to do this. In addition, is there any way to change the list out put from an ordered list to an unordered list. See here to see what I mean.
