Hey Keith, we're sorry this isn't working like you'd expect. Here's a link to a more thorough answer concerning Delicious imports (same problem, different service type). http://getsatisfaction.com/toobla/topics/delicious_importing_not_working
I know it doesn't fix the issue, but hopefully it gives you some insight as to what is possible.
A comment on the question "How do I share with FaceBook" in Toobla:
Facebook Connect requires javascript to use. Once you have javascript enabled, try browsing to http://toobla.com/login you should see the "Connect with Facebook" button seen here (http://toobla.com/tour/facebook_connect).
Let me know if that doesn't fix the problem you're having. – Mike Busch, on October 06, 2009 13:29

Hi Monica,
For now we've disabled the automatic Youtube recognition in the bookmarklet, because it was causing some weird issues. In the meantime, you'll have to copy the embed code (most sites provide) and paste it into the bookmarklet's Embed section.
We're currently developing a solution that will automatically recognize many different site's (including Youtube, Hulu, Vimeo, flickr) embeds and allow you a much more streamlined bookmarking experience.
Hope that helps.

Mike Busch replied on October 06, 2009 01:05 to the problem "Delicious Importing Not Working" in Toobla:
Hey Bill, this is a great question (and a problem we had when we made the service feature). Let me explain what we've found.
We're using a service called GNIP to facilitate automatically importing content from other social media networks (like delicious). The caveat to the service is that it only imports content posted since you've added the service to your Toobla profile. So, for now, it won't import all of your older content. We'll be looking into solutions for importing all of a users content from services like flickr, delicious, and digg at some point in the future.
The other nuance (and i'm unsure of the details) is that your new content may take a bit of time to be picked up and sent to your Toobla service folder.
Hope this at least answers your question. Sorry that I can't offer a better solution or a time frame for its resolutions at this time.
Mike Busch replied on October 06, 2009 00:54 to the question "How do I share with FaceBook" in Toobla:
Hi. This is a good question.
In order to share your Toobla content on Facebook, you need to login to Toobla using the Facebook Connect button on the login page.
We've only implemented share via Facebook for a user's own folders. So, if you've created a folder with some content, you'll need to navigate to the folder you want to share, and click the share button (in the lower right of the folder box). Then in the bottom left of the share menu, you'll see a "Share on Facebook" link. Clicking this link will pop up a facebook dialog, that will allow you to customize the message that will be posted on your Facebook feed.
Currently a user can only share his/her own folders. We'll be adding support for sharing any user's folders or individual content items to Facebook in the near future.
Let us know if this works for you, and if you have any other questions.

Hey Paul, Can you retest this and see if you still have the same issue? I've made a change to the Facebook Application to take into account the presence of www in the url.

Mike Busch replied on August 25, 2009 22:55 to the idea "Can we get a Wordpress Widget?" in Toobla:
Hey Kenneth, that's a great idea! Toobla has a (somewhat hidden) feature that allows users to share Folders via a Widget. Make sure to checkout the Tour for a full explanation of how to use the Widget to share folder content elsewhere on the web.
Mike Busch replied on August 23, 2009 03:47 to the problem "Slow slow slow Slow slow slow Slow slow slow Slow slow slow Slow slow slow Slow slow slow Slow slow slow" in Toobla:
I see two issues here.
1. The library page shows thumbnails of items that are no longer in the collection, before a page refresh. This is a known issue, we just haven't addressed it.
2. Site performance. This is a major sticking point for us right now. We'll be doing some major performance enhancements in the very near future. Namely serving only thumbnail sized images, instead of full sized images shrunken using CSS. This alone should more than double the speed of the app, if not even more than that.
Thanks for taking time to share your issues. We're definitely trying to make a better app, so every bug/problem/place for improvement we find now helps us get there.

Mike Busch replied on August 22, 2009 02:07 to the problem "Password-related security issues" in Toobla:
Jason, we've fixed this by removing the password from our New Account emails, and replacing it with an activation link instead. We're also working on cleaning up our Mailer logs, to remove any references to passwords for emails sent with plaintext passwords.
To clarify, we were never storing passwords in the database unencrypted. Like you said, they are both salted and hashed prior to storage. Hopefully that addresses part 1 of your concern.
OpenID login is not on our radar right now, although we definitely see its usefulness. Instead, we're focusing on implementing Facebook Connect, which will allow our users the same one-click Sign Up/ Log In process that OpenID provides. Look for that with the September release.-
