I'd like to be able to reorder my Goals list

Call me neurotic, but I like having my Goals organized in similar groups. I hate it when I add a new goal that belongs with goals at the top of my list, and then have to edit every single goal just to move them down a slot.

Not knowing your architecture, the guys behind www.tadalist.com have done a really good job with their lists. Maybe their implementation might spark an idea!

This would be really handy! I know that it's hard for me to start working in the morning, and that around 2-3 I start slipping into surfing mode. This would be grand!

Don't worry too much, redandblack! I've been using RescueTime for a year now, and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how awesome it is!

You need a good day or two's worth of logs to truly get a feel for the program, anyways :P

I'm running Vista x64 on a brand spanking new install. No songs had even been imported (I was heading to the iTunes install option). Slide has a great screenshot (above post) which explains the menu problem that happens while waiting for the Option dialog to open.

I just installed Songbird 1.0 and the Options window only opens sporadically. The first four times I tried it (restarting Songbird each time), no window popped up, and the menu bar then refused to open when clicked on. Only on the fifth try did the window open, and even then after a 15 second delay.

Hi All,

I have the same problem as every one here; recording times when I am not at my computer. Finally about two months ago, I threw together a windows application which tracks idle time. It's simple and not very complicated but works well. The program can be found at

The program is a very simplistic "VB express" application which tracks when the mouse is idle then prompts you when the mouse is no longer idle. It is configurable and sits in the system tray.

I really don't want to use this program but I am still waiting for RescueTime to put this functionality into the application. They are indicating it will be there soon but until then hopefully this program will help.
I've added a couple of screenshots so you can see the interface.

Try this. It's a little local web app that allows you to record events manually.
