Hello John,
After the launch of the new BT Tradespace site you will find a Google Analytics module on your admin dashboard. A button on this module will take you to a page where you can enter the Web property ID that Google creates when you add a new profile. Once you've entered the ID and saved it the Google Analytics code will automatically be added to your Tradespace profile.
You can read more about the Web property ID at http://www.google.com/support/googlea...
Here's a screen grab of where you'll see it once you add your Tradespace profile to your Google Analytics account:

Hello Evelyn,
You can see your Tradespace site by logging in at https://www.bttradespace.com/userauth...
After you've logged in you should see a link at the top right of the screen that says 'Manage my Tradespace'. If you click on this you'll go to the admin pages for your Tradespace site.
From here you can view your site as your customers would see it by clicking the 'View your Tradespace' link in the left hand column.
Regards,
Mike

What's the best way to encode a file?Exporting your video from software package like Apple’s iMovie or Microsoft’s Windows Movie Maker will give you the same quality on Viddler.
Here are some tips from us to help you get the best out of both of these packages.
Apple’s iMovie ‘08 and/or ‘06:
When exporting your video project from iMovie, select “Export using Quicktime.” (example screenshots). This will give you advanced settings to export your video. You will have options to edit nearly every aspect of the final video output, but we suggest looking at a few important ones. These are called format, resolution, video bit-rate, audio bit-rate. To see each of the settings for these, read the suggested video encoding settings below them.
If you do not want to deal with any of these advanced settings you may export the movie using iMovie’s “Apple TV” specification. This should give you a video file that will be good enough for most uses.
Windows Movie Maker: Unfortunately Windows Movie Maker does not support exporting in any other format besides DV-AVI, and WMP9. While you may upload either of these two file types, you can not use these file types to share via iTunes, on iPods and iPhones, or on Apple TVs and Tivo set-top boxes. These devices only support the Quicktime (.mov) or MPEG-4 (mp4,m4v) video formats.
To convert a Windows Movie Maker project into a Quicktime-compatible file you will need to first export the video as DV-AVI and then convert it into Quicktime using Quicktime itself. The same optimal video encoding settings below apply.

What's a thumbnail? It’s just an image that will represent your video on your Tradespace site. It’s the first thing viewers/your customers will see before they watch your video so it make it good and relevant to your video!
Mike Loizides asked a question in BT Tradespace on June 24, 2009 17:02:
Who moderates the videos and how is moderation done? The BT Tradespace team approve/moderate videos for content, but we only do moderate videos prior to publishing them on BT Tradespace TV (http://video.bttradespace.com/). The BT Tradespace team will review video content in accordance with our terms of us before it's made available within the TS TV page.

How does the video upload process work? It’s pretty simple really. Just follow these steps to upload your video
- Make sure your video is suitable size to upload – (our recommended size: is 50Mb or under)
- VISIT BT Tradespace TV and click on the ‘Upload your videos’ button on the left hand side
- Complete all the fields on the upload form including choosing file to upload from your computer (Top tip: Remember to give your video file a relevant name to help it be found on search)
- Click ‘submit video’ but remember not to close your browser window until you see the message ‘Thanks for your upload’
- Make a note of the unique link/URL which will appear on the next screen once you’ve uploaded your video or from the confirmation email you receive
- Log in to your Tradespace Manager
- Click on the 'Design & content' tab;
- click on videos
- click on add video
- type or cut and paste the link/ URL you received for your video previously into the field
- click on save video
- browse for an image file on your computer to use as the thumbnail for your video
- click on 'save video'
- click on 'view your Tradespace' to watch your video and experience it as your customers will.
