According to all reports that can be found -- the original namespace is 160-140 for text, 15 for username, and when presented as username: messages -- the colon and space take up two more.
This implies that usernames could be 18 characters.
If so, I also have interest in being able to use an 18 character username. -

My Grandcentral account was recently upgraded to Google Voice - but they aren't yet supporting the contacts from Google Apps accounts. So I must now manually keep my contacts in sync between my google apps account and my gmail account. I attempted to add both accounts to Soocial, so I could sync my contacts between them, but it appears to only allow me to add one gmail account to my soocial account (I can add either; but not both at once.
