OpenBeak, I'm happy for you, and a'mma let ya finish but...Umm. TwitterBerry, i mean OpenBeak, I'm really happy for you, and I'm gonna let you finish, but TwitterBerry had the best application icon... EVER.
Can you lose the speech bubble on the new open beak app icon, I'm not in love with it, but it looks awkward, too much negative space in my opinion.
Also, can you rearrange the menu so that "close" or "exit" is all the way at the bottom? I'm scrolling so fast that when I accidentally hit the "log out" it's such a pain to log back in and go through the set up all over.

Seems to be that the problem is fixed, and that it may have not been Twitterberry's fault in the first place. Turns out I had javascript enabled and that caused the browser to go memory hungry. I disabled javascript and the problem dissapeared. I was clicking on links from twitterberry and let the browser run in the background while the page was loading.

HUGE memory Leak, please fix!I am still experiencing a HUGE memory leak from twitterberry 0.9.1.0 So much in fact that my battery has been draining within hours even on a full charge. I have disabled all my other applications and after I open twitterberry all i can see is the processing icon (the little clock) on my blackberry bold.
Mikel Calderon asked a question in Orangatame on July 16, 2009 06:27:
Sending video to twitter?Just downloaded 0.9.1.0 and tried the Zannel as media provider. Zannel claims you can upload video. but i get error message filetype 3gp not supported when i send video to twitterberry. I cant upload video then? or just not 3gp?

Small suggestion to improve timeline navigation.Would it be too much to ask that the user names in the timeline be turned into links to make navigating to a users timeline more intuitive? Just asking...

Feature Request: Faster update/timeline screen.Someone mentioned switching between bubbles in Twitterberry 0.9 beta 4 would make reading Tweets you care about faster. What if you could add a hyperlink to each tweeter's name and have the app just hop around hyperlinks? also would it be possible to update your status straight from the timeline? after you do, you could just make it go away and display as usual, or like I mentioned before, have it be an overlay. allow me to illustrate...
Overlay in the middle of the feed...
"drop down" overlay
Or my latest crazy idea...
In this last one, move your cursor to the input box, type your tweet, and press enter, bingo, the timeline refreshes showing you the freshest. What do you say?

UI overhaul? Bright new colors? User defined themes?I love the new look of TwitterBerry, but my Idea would be a long term project, probably, maybe not, perhaps. Would it be possible to allow for different "themes" for twitterberry? mabye allowing for a selection of different bubble styles, or perhaps even a colorpicker to change the default blue hue we all love, adding magenta, lime green, or my favorite redorange as choices. This would be more of an aesthetic upgrade but not an overall improvement, or maybe it will be? What do you think?
On a more serious note, why not have the "update my timeline" drop down over my friends timeline? at least on a Bold, screen is big enough and currently one can type waaay over 140 characters in the update tweet screen. cropping it down would be way more ideal. For Pearls, i'm not sure it would work so well.. Let me add a couple of pictures so you can see what i am envisioning
One a basic overlay over the friends timeline.
The other, covering only half of the screen
I have Twitterberry configured to display my friends timeline on first run, hence my proposal. I am guessing that this could be implemented even if the default is set to have the update screen start first no?

Blackberry Bold possessed by TwitterBerry 0.9Twitterberry 0.9 won't execute. Installed and was running fine for a few days, uploaded a picture to twitpic and now my bb doesn't even open. Frozen at the home screen, no timer no nothing just stuck. Downgraded to 0.8 and then reloaded 0.9 still no joy. Battery pull doesn't help after reboot same problem happens.
