Currently we use Quickbooks. To do our taxes each year we just create an accountant's copy of our quickbooks db, hand it to him, he imports and does what he needs. It works really quickly.
That's the ONLY easy thing about quickbooks. How do your users handle the handoff to their accountant at tax time?-

well the 8830 i reported this on doesn't have a camera. So it's not photo or videos. and I only keep a couple texts and emails, so they're not the cause. it could be something else running out of memory, but if so, it's a bug in that particular app, I'd suspect.
Anyway, I solved the original problem: I got a Bold

My Blackberry 8830 spontaneously deletes emails, call history and sms history. My Blackberry 8830 spontaneously deletes emails, call history and sms history.
Once a week or so, my blackberry will spontaneously delete all the emails, call histories, and sms histories on the device.
I use gmail so my normal sync setting are to delete emails on the phone, but not in my gmail. As a result my emails aren't lost, they're just deleted from the phone.
I don't keep huge amounts of histories, so it's not like there are 32k emails and something overflows.
I get no error messages. It has the standard Verizon firmware v4.2.2.66
The phone doesn't reset or restart, just deletes the histories.
Two questions: 1. am I unique in this problem? 2. anything I can do about it?

Several minutes to start up Firefox 3 (disk swapping grind grind grind)Several minutes of disk swap grinding when I start Firefox 3 where you can't do anything. It's usually 3-5 minutes, so I go get coffee. The swap also kicks in randomly during the day.
The mozilla folks usually blame bad performance on plugins. But I have removed every add on and disabled every plugin (Except shockwave flash, which I upgraded from 9 to 10 to see if that'd help). This has resulted maybe some improvement.
I'm on WinXP Pro, with a few years of Windows-rot, so I have lots of random things like old JVMs or other software that may be conflicting.
My current hypothesis is that I have a lot of live bookmarks leftover from before I switched to google reader.
At this point I'd be better off using IE.
