Sorry for the false alarm. The issue appears to have been related to my config for the Call Graph utility for Skype audio recording -- I could not hear the far side of the call. Reconfigured on my end and it cleared up.

Clearly something was wonky last night. Streaming did not work and the show is still running 10 hours later.

Same issue on 45077 (TUAW.com show). We encouraged everyone to call in and it worked out for the most part, but now the show is stuck 'running.' – MikeTRose, on December 15, 2008 13:12

You can avoid this by using a different URL shortening service to pre-process the tweet.

Direct Messages page consistently fails to load (9K+ follower account)

Every time I try to load the Direct Messages page for the @TUAW account, I get a whale... this may be a problem specific to accounts with large follower counts, as I don't have the same issue on my personal account (@MikeTRose).
