Twitter API Limit

Hello,

I've started working on my personal blog and for my main page I have used Twitter's API to grab the data of my updates and ID, including other information. I was unable to find this answer in the API FAQ, so I was wondering if there was a "hit rate limit" on viewing people's statuses through the API. If so, is there a way I can work around this so my main page doesn't turn empty while trying to retrieve the data.

Try emailing both contact@twitter.com and support@twitter.com. You can also open a support ticket by going to http://help.twitter.com, they usually take a long time to reply, but they will.

After reading through some other questions, I noticed one use was going through the same situation. By reading through the responses it seems they had contacted Twitter through email or customer support and got it fixed. So, I would try and contact them more directly instead of from here.

No, your mobile number is connected to your account, but people will not be able to see your mobile number. They will only know that you sent the update as a text message.

No idea, seems like an off-balance within Twitter's database. Hopefully they can resolve this. I noticed when Twitter is getting an overload of traffic some statistics go whack.

Since I've not had this problem, I wouldn't know what to do. But from a matter of approach I would try and change my password, do a forgot password, or something.

Maybe since you are logged in and you're searching for yourself it would seem kind of redundant to list yourself. Try logging out or logging into another account and see if this problem is reproduced.
