Hi, I'm very excited about the fact you want to make desktop widget app. In my case, I use Google Desktop sidebar (Windows Vista) and it would be nice to have some gadget with ability of creating issues. Just the same functions, as in fixx itself. That would make issue creating process simpler for me.-

Hi,
I just want to share some informations about running Tomcat in fixx installation as a service on 64bit Windows. The solution is descibed here: http://blog.datajelly.com/2007/06/run...
Simply - Tomcat and JDK should be also in 64bit versions.

Wrong URL in e-mail messagesHi,
there is a small issue with fixx login URL which is send via e-mail when new user (or client) is created. The URL contains server's internal IP address (e.g. http://192.168.0.1/login), not a fixx installation URL.
I do not know if this is important info for you, but our fixx is running on Windows Server 2008 x64 as a service. Note that the server is equipped with two network cards as we need fixx to run on another internal IP address on port 80 (another Apache instance is already using server's default IP address on port 80).
In messages which are send when new issue is created (or modified) the URL is ok. So I believe thit is not caused by server settings.
Kind regards,
Michal

Template for project areasHi,
I think it would be good to have possibility of creating templates for areas in projects. In my case I have the same areas in 95% of my projects and now I have to create them for each project separately.
Or is there any other way how to simplify this?
Thank you for your reply,
Michal

fixx/Tomcat as a service?Hi,
just one question - it is possible to run fixx (embedded Tomcat) as a service, without the need of logged user with running shell/DOS prompt window on the computer?
Thank you for your reply,

Support for Google Chrome in fixx?Hi,
just one question - will you support the new browser from Google Chrome in future? I just downloaded Google Chrome (www.google.com/chrome) and I like it because it is very fast.
fixx works great in Google Chrome except for some links. For example, "Issues" link is not working. Tomcat says HTTP Status 500 - The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request.
I think it is not fixx issue, but Google Chrome issue as it is in early stage of development.

Hi Sarat,
many thanks for the update and your patience, it works! The Czech characters are now ok. The only place, where the problem remains is in the fixx installation name. See below:

But I think it is only small and unimportant issue for us. The rest is ok.
Once more - many thanks for all. We are going to buy the commercial license now.
