The font used for the main area is Helvetica. What happens if you open the HUD with the same tweets? Does it still show a dotted line around them?

This bug has also been very frustrating for us as because we cannot reproduce it. We've been hunting it for 4 weeks now and we still haven't been able to make find it. I sincerely apologize for your troubles and we will keep trying to squash it. All we know about the bug is that it's getting caused by a particular set of users (or just one) on Twitter with some malformed URLs. We would greatly appreciate any clues you might have as to cause.

Can I ask you if you have any special font settings? Anything you can think of related to fonts that you might have changed?

One way to achieve something along the lines of what you want would be to use the smart folder functionality which will be introduced in the next update.

There is a bug with showing the selection for Flickr photos at the moment. If you resize the window, you will the selection and it will disappear again at certain sizes. We will fix this bug in a future update.

Actually, this is the behavior of the standard Cocoa controls (NSTableView / NSOutlineView). We used to have it such that it wouldn't move the next item to the middle and people started complaining about it. I'm not really sure what the right decision here is - I get your point but also we don't want to break the standard behavior. Maybe a hidden pref option?

Let me try and answer your address your feature requests.

1) This is a known issue and it will be fixed in an update.
2) I think we added that one in the current development build.
3) I'll take this on board and try to implement it for the next update.

6) We've modified the implementation so that the events are actually marked as read only after they're offscreen

Under Twitter, you have three standard containers (in the sidebar) - Messages, Favorites and Replies. Anything else is either a Profile Peek (has the icon of a person's outline) or a search (has a magnifying glass icon).

It's a profile peek of a particular user. You can tell which one it is by noticing that it will be empty when you click on it. We've fixed the problem in the latest development build so it tells you which PP exactly is causing the problem.

You can just enable either Growl or the HUD from the Preferences.
