Because the period breaks the URL.. This is a known issue & we will be fixing the registration process so that periods & other characters the break URL's will not be allowed. Until then we just have to correct user names that have invalid characters.

It is the period in your user name that is causing the issue. If you email either Jacob or myself with a new user name without a period we can correct the problem.

Your are correct that the period in your user name is what is messing up your feed. It also messes up your single video pages. It is on our list to disallow certain characters in user names, just low on the list... :-)
