I'd also like to add, one of the people I received an invite from I never ever talk to, so I checked with him and he said he never sent me an invite, or at least never tried to. He's an iPhone user too, btw. – missamberlee, on July 14, 2008 17:58 -

I love the "it's not our problem" response. Thanks for that. And if the sms comes just from the user's phone and not through your system (and through your app) from the user's phone, then why are both the invites I got from 2 different people under one conversation with a fake number as the source? Coincidentally, has anyone looked at http://getsatisfaction.com/loopt/topi...

perhaps I am a victim of this bug. I just got 2 invites to loopt in sms today from 2 different people and have added myself to the "how do i stop receiving loopt invites by sms" question that's already up. both people I received the invites from use iphones. – missamberlee, on July 12, 2008 22:52 -

Why can't I see friends' public and private notes combined when I'm logged in?I signed up for pownce so I could see all my friends' notes on one page. Only problem is, there is no easy way to see public notes and private notes from my friends at the same time. I may as well be logged out, because there is no obvious navigation to get to my friends' public pages either, which is where all the content is. As a user who is more interested in keeping track of my friends' notes than posting them, it seems there is no motivation for me to have an account. Am I missing something? I tried looking for a setting to change the public notes as viewable, but I couldn't find anything.
If it is a matter of only being able to see future notes once I've signed up, then it would be great if you guys could change it so past posts show up as soon as you friend someone. That way users will feel like they've actually gotten something once they've signed up and added friends, instead of just a blank page like I've had for the last week.
