good to know - it would be a nice feature to have a waterproof seal applied to it, but as long as it hold up and doesn't stink - it should be okay.-

I have a wool cap I wear in the winter and in the rain. I put a product called NIKWAX on it. It is awsome!! I got it at a snowboard/ski shop. -

You do not need a thing. I took out a wool bag last week on two days with pouring rain and both days the bag dried well and did not have that "wool" smell. From my human guinea pig study, that bag holds up well. I would just make sure that it gets completely dry. Mold from staying in a wet state could be the killer. -
