Still having this exact same problem, no change at all. Beginning to think that some setting or something might have exploded. – mizipzor, on September 24, 2009 20:48

mizipzor asked a question in Google on September 24, 2009 10:17:
Picasa custom image size/resolution limitTo save space on my Picasa account when setting up a shared album I would like to limit the maximum file size and/or resolution of every image uploaded. Is this possible?
mizipzor replied on September 24, 2009 10:12 to the question "NATIVE Linux Picasa -- WHEN?" in Google:
Hmm, I know the question is old but Im currently running a native Picasa client. It works quite well to, nothing Ive tried so far has failed. I even think I ran the same native client last time I tried Picasa about half a year ago. Find it here.-

Hmm, still doesnt seem to work 100% for me. I can see my own feed, or a friends feed if I click any of their faces. That is, any feed thats located on a http://new.streamy.com/#facebook.user/XXX url (replace XXX with any user id number). But the main page has remained stubbornly blank the last 12 hours.
A comment on the problem "Two chat widgets for one MSN contact" in Streamy:
Sadly, no one of my MSN contacts (that I regularly talk to) is online at the moment, otherwise I would try to find steps to reproduce. During testing, did you ask your peer to change his/her display name in the middle of the conversation? If the other client matters, my brother does, to my knowledge, use the latest version of the official desktop MSN client. – mizipzor, on September 24, 2009 00:33
mizipzor replied on September 24, 2009 00:22 to the problem "RSS feed is terribly formatted..." in chi.mp:
Nice improvement on the feed there! :) Ill check those optimization options.
And I talked a little about this with my friend. What formatting I actually want that is. The entire post is out of the question, its to long and would bloat my Chi.mp feed. But I try to include a picture in every post, besides formatting the text well it does a very good job at breaking up the wall-of-text-feeling. When sharing a link on Facebook, it automatically finds a good image to put in as a thumbnail for the link.
Im quite happy with the way it looks now (title and summary), I just want an image for it as well. A small thumbnail, like in Facebook. I wonder how I would go about adding that.
I still feel that finding a 3rd party feed reparser is the right way to go. I have no doubt that other feeds Im trying to jam into Chi.mp are going to give me problems in the future, so I might as well find myself a toolbox to deal with it.
mizipzor reported a problem in Streamy on September 24, 2009 00:10:
Two chat widgets for one MSN contactI added MSN messenger and got my contact groups and my online friends. "Cool, seems to work" I thought.
Sent a message to my brother. He responded, but his response was shown in a new, separate, chat window. I could type to him in both windows, he received both just fine. I realized that in one window, his display name was in all lowercase letters and in the other the first letter was capitalized. I dont know if he changed his display name just after I sent my initial message. Still, this would mean that Streamy groups conversation based on the display name rather than contact email address, which might not be the best idea.
(Took this from my way to long feedback post in another question, realized that its a problem warranting a separate report, not just a mention.)
mizipzor replied on September 24, 2009 00:01 to the idea "Things that should be added to Streamy" in Streamy:
I agree with Jay Purcell here. What drew my to Streamy was the vision of having a one stop dashboard and hub for all my social networks. Just a single tab in the browser, very convenient.
Bare minimum then (for the one tab criteria to apply) would be, in order of importance: Facebook, Twitter, Gmail (multiple accounts), MSN.
But the most important, hands down, without doubt, feature is the social part. Without it, the social networks are... uh, you get the point. What I mean by that is the comments, the "like"s, sharing/sending links/photos/videos/blogposts to one another.
Facebook
I currently have some problem with that. Facebook seems slow to update. I cant see my friends comments on posted items. And if I would, the items doesnt reach me until a few hours after being posted. By then, the conversation has already sparked, got interesting, and finally died out. One hour later, Streamy kindly tells me what I just missed. >.<
Seems obvious for it to be included, if Streamy is aimed to be something social. Im looking for that sortof "pingbacks and responses" list, the facebook.com/notifications.php.
The two above paragraphs renders the Facebook implementation sub-par for my use. I still cant close my Facebook tab. I currently only have Streamy open because its cool.
Twitter
Currently works well enough, I get my contacts tweets within ten minutes of them being posted (usually). I would like it faster but its acceptable. Having a a "Mentions" widget was a great idea! Ive closed my Twitter tab as a test, from the looks of it, Streamy is ready to replace it in that regard.
MSN
I added MSN messenger and got my contact groups and my online friends.
Then I encountered a problem that made me stop using MSN on Streamy. I was waiting for a contact to login. Hes usually online at this time. Then I realized that my online contacts list hadnt changed in a minute. I logged in using my regular desktop client and there he was. I dont know whats caused this but until Ive done some more testing, MSN on Streamy is confined to times where I dont rely upon it for communication.
Conclusion
So, in conclusion, I should really stop drinking coffee this late. Otherwise I end up writing a 500+ words of feedback for some random service Ive just found. If you dont die of old age before finishing reading this, I hope it was useful to at least someone in the team. Haha! XD

Twitter seems very fast for me (<10 min) but Facebook is very slow. It seems to be about two hours behind for me, but some content appears to be ignored and the rest arrives out of order... I think. Theres so much chaos its very hard to identify a pattern here. Currently, facebook.com/home.php and new.streamy.com/#facebook doesnt resemble each other in any way.-

mizipzor replied on September 23, 2009 22:44 to the problem "RSS feed is terribly formatted..." in chi.mp:
Okey, I added the feed for my blog to feedburner and added the newly created feed to Chi.mp. Heres before and after. Not much difference at all. But if we check the actual feedburner feed, it displays the entire post, with formatting images and all. So there shouldnt be any faulty Wordpress feed generating settings here.
Displaying the entire post is maybe a bit much though. Would probably clutter my main feed on Chi.mp. But I want an image in there to make the block-of-text a bit more interesting and a bit less dull. Facebook does a good job at picking an image when sharing links.
Hmm, I just realised I dont really have a clue what I want. Nevertheless, the first step is to find a good middleman to "burn" my feed into something I like the layout of.
Edit: Note that I dont use Posterous, the problem is still the same though; I dont like the layout/format of my feed. Finding a solution for the initial question is probably very valid for me as well.
mizipzor replied on September 23, 2009 22:25 to the problem "RSS feed is terribly formatted..." in chi.mp:
Interesting. Funky indeed but a workaround nonetheless. Statistics is probably quite worthless because I already have my feeds setup all over the place, if people subscribe to something it will probably be that. But total subscribers should at least be 1, assuming we subscribe ourself via Chi.mp. ;)
A comment on the problem "RSS feed is terribly formatted..." in chi.mp:
I was just myself looking for a way to "reformat", so to speak, the feed using some 3rd party tool. Can Feedburner do that? Or did you just let it work its magic and put the Feedburner feed url into Chi.mp? – mizipzor, on September 23, 2009 22:12
A comment on the problem "facebook streams not loading" in Streamy:
Yup, seems to work, great job! :) When I wanted to check Facebook on Streamy, it first asked me to try to reconnect, which took me to the Facebook site. There it displayed something that could be interpreted as a preview of what would end up on Streamy. Very promising. Clicking the avatar/photo of a friend in the upper left lets me see his/her stream. I can also check my own stream. But shouldnt I see a collection of everything mashed together on http://new.streamy.com/#facebook ? If thats the case, everything but that doesnt work. – mizipzor, on September 23, 2009 17:18-
