@giyad: Like all standards, there are many to choose from. But supporting several common naming conventions would help recognize 90% of the content out there. Thanks for pointing out the browse function, it's not immediately obvious that you can do that! Unfortunately browse doesn't let me sort by date (descending), but at least it's something!

Yo Boxee devs! Keep up the good work, and throw in some new regular expressions for matching TV shows when you have a chance. You can find some common ones in the TVTorrents FAQ, and on eztv.it.

Here's another idea, feel free to steal it: Take advantage of your social networking aspect by crowdsourcing the matching of files names to metadata. Keep a database of filename-to-metadata harvested from your users, and suggest matches to your users based on the database.
