    Hi Jackie,

I leverage Diigo on a daily basis, both for work-related activities as well as for my personal use.

There are a lot of cool "web 2.0" apps on the market today designed to not only be useful but make our lives easier. However, lots of apps either fail to be useful or are simply too complicated. Diigo (in my opinion) is one such app that absolutely will make your life easier. If you are someone who spends any amount of time surfing the web, conducting research or competitive intelligence, or other business purposes - Diigo is a MUST HAVE research tool. Diigo is cut above the rest of the social bookmarking apps and allows for easy data collection, annotation, sharing, and collaboration. Oh by the way, they have a cool new feature called "WebSlides" and it's a great way to quickly choose a select group of bookmarks then showcase your findings to a friend, group, or co-workers. It's fast, extremely easy, and eliminates the need to do screenshots which then need to be pasted into a PPT presentation.

That said, as with any new application, it does take a bit of effort to understand how to fully leverage all the bells and whistels. However, once you get it, you'll never go back to surfing the web without it.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions!

    Good luck-

mmarlatt asked a question in Spokeo on June 11, 2008 16:09:

Spokeo: Why can I not import all my contacts from Linkedin?
Social Networks are everywhere and the truth is that it's so hard to keep up with all my contacts these days. I have discovered that Social Network Aggregators are a great way to centralize the way we follow our contacts.

I realize that there are many aggregators out there such as Friendfeed, Socialstream, SocialThing, etc., but one I particularly like is Spokeo. I use Spokeo as it is a very simple tool to help aggregate the contacts that matter most to me. However, that said, I have been experimenting with trying to import my LinkedIn contacts and noticed that it only imports a fraction of my actual 1st level contacts from Linkedin.

Can anyone advise as to why I am unable to import all my contacts from Linkedin? It's highly likely this is simply a case of "user error" so any insight from someone in this community, or better yet- from Spokeo, would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!
