I understand that this can be a bit of a stumbling block to some people, but using humans to transcribe voice recordings is common practise among many of the high quality transcriptions services. Some of them do not provide any alternative to their human only system and for reQall to offer the option, I think, is highly commendable. It allows high levels of precision and still provides vital privacy options.-

Support OAuth for contact importAt this time I am unable to import my contacts to reQall because I am required to import my username and password. I would appreciate it if OAuth, or similar could be set up so I could utilise this helpful feature.

A comment on the question "Won't the spammers just make up email addresses?" in OtherInbox:
If a spammer identifies an existing username it would be extremely easy for them to start trying to guess existing addresses. How much more would a "Paypal account" spam e-mail be if sent to an address set up specifically for Paypal? The ability in this situation to change Paypal@... to Paypal1234@... would stop that spam in its tracks. I would argue that spammers are actually more likely to try and target existing addresses as the user is more likely to receive the e-mails and actually pay attention to them, not to mention trust.
So although this technique may be aimed primarily at new addresses, using it to cover old addresses as well could go a long way to increase security and decrease spam. – MMcCubbing, on August 20, 2009 15:55
A comment on the question "Won't the spammers just make up email addresses?" in OtherInbox:
If it could be toggled then it could only apply to new addresses, otherwise the person would have to go back to all of their accounts, mailing lists, etc and update their addresses with the now-required PIN/passcode. This would break some (granted few, but still some) sites/lists that don't (for some strange reason) allow you to update your e-mail.
The system could /should obviously be programmed to remove the passcode from the address so the mailbox still shows as just "greengrass" also allowing people to slowly go through and update their existing ones to the new addess with increased security without losing any e-mails in the mean time, or only updating ones that start to get spammed, and still have them together in the same mailbox automatically.
Any browser add-on that auto-generates addresses could easily add the registered passcode to the end of the address, making updating that much easier. – MMcCubbing, on August 19, 2009 07:00
