Fun. It's a Windows limitation. Juice tries to create a directory with the full name of the podcast & depending on your windows username & file structure (ie: where Juice dl's to), windows reaches its limit before Juice gets to the end of my book's title.

So the default saving location of "C:\Documents and Settings\Teel\My Documents\My Received Podcasts\Untrue Tales From Beyond Fiction - Recollections of an Alternate Past, Book One An Introduction To Dodgeball -or- Conception and Induction -or- How To Begin An Apocalypse - A free audiobook by Teel McClanahan III" was too long, but "C:\Podcasts\Untrue Tales From Beyond Fiction - Recollections of an Alternate Past, Book One An Introduction To Dodgeball -or- Conception and Induction -or- How To Begin An Apocalypse - A free audiobook by Teel McClanahan III" downloaded fine.

Juice works fine with default settings on OS X (different file system), & iTunes handles it on both XP (by truncating the album name) & OS X without trouble.

I'm still reluctant to put less than the full title in as the title, but I'd rather have people be able to listen rather than just be able to read the full title on a file they can't download. I'm also not sure what impact changing the name mid-book would have on current subscribers, but I'll consult with Evo on that aspect.

    Filter notes by sets?
This feels like an obvious idea: Can I now, or will I be able in the future, to filter notes by sets? So instead of "All notes and replies" or a particular type of note, how about "All notes in set -y-"?

So that with a click I can see just work-related notes & replies, just family notes & replies, or quickly filter out notes & replies by people I've never met by using my "people I actually know in life" set?

Which is to say: a major differentiating feature of Pownce over other services is that I can communicate with specifically defined groups of people, and this feature should be two-way; I should be able not only to filter who I am sending to, but filter who I am receiving from, at any given moment.

I've gotten into the habit of using Cooliris Previews on the '-n- Replies' and 'Replied to -x-' links, which provides ... something like the functionality I want for threaded replies.

Being able to 'follow' someone else's message would be helpful, though I'm not sure how well it would scale...

Replies to replies? Also, threaded replies?
On my main stream I see my messages, my friends' messages, my friends replies to my messages and my replies to other people's messages, but when there is a reply to a reply I have to go find it on the message's individual thread page? I keep missing halves of conversations for hours or days at a time (or forever, how would I know?) because I'm not noticing the "-n- replies" link on a message that's trailed down and out of sight. There should be some way to 'follow' a message's replies automatically.

Also, I keep thinking it would be nice to see some or all of a message's replies without leaving the page I'm on. Threaded inline replies, AJAX pop-up of the message's individual page, something... And the same sort of function from any reply in my stream to something else, which would show the original message and its replies without having to take me all over the web (or out of the Desktop app, as currently happens on any reply-related click).
