I just bought this item for my wife and she is having problems with the hear loop as well.

Her ear canals are pretty mall and most ear-bud head phones cause her pain. She's been using a Motorola H700 for the past year. The sound and mic are just OK but the fit is so nice she often forgets she has it on. It's on over-ear design which may cause the hearing problems so we wanted to try an in-ear solution. The ear hook on it is very flexible and really hold on to the ear. On the Zivio it seems to just kind of lay there and doesn't do much supporting or holding on to the ear. When she turns her head it tends to move and wiggle a lot.

Do you make any other styles of ear hook that maybe go around the back of the ear more and really hold on? The included one seems to bend at about a 120 degree angle then return to straight. It might work better if it were more curved to really contour the back of the ear.

Once on the current one ends and kind of hangs off of her ear, not touching it and pointing back. Is there a replacement that continues around and would end up under the ear pointing more forward?

Also part of the problem may be that you only have 2 out of 3 axis of movement. When holding it as it would sit in your ear you can adjust the ear piece up and down and can rotate it within the rubber holder but can't move it left and right. The Motorola is spring loaded and gently holds on to your ear so it doesn't move around.

I must add that the Zivio boom idea is very nice and helps eliminate background noise and the sound quality is excellent, when it stays put any way. But if she can't make this work for her we may have to return it.

    Thanks for your time.
