I'm afraid I'm with Michael, partially at least. I really like the potential of the application and I really enjoy having the opportunity to contribute to its development, but nothing appears to have changed since I raised this question 7 months ago and so sadly I must look elsewhere for a more useable application.

Single user billing problemsHi,
I have a single user account which costs $0 per year, so obviously I haven't entered any billing information. However, when I log into expens'd I can now only see the billing page and an error message that says;
'Your expens'd account has expired. Please update your billing information so that you can continue to use expens'd.'
I can also see this information on the screen:
Your Plan: You Change Plan
Current Payment Method: /
Next Charge Date: 06/18/09
Next Charge Amount: $0.00
Please can you tell me why my account expires if you aren't charging me for it in the first place? I'm trying to print my expenses to complete my tax return so this is very frustrating!-

Hi,
Sorry, I thought I'd replied to this! I think it only need be another field on the current expense form. I like the sound of the separate standard expense form, but since I download everything into a spreadsheet, I could just filter that way.
If it were a separate form, then it would be good to be able to record journey from & journey to, mileage rate, total miles for journey & amount claimed with a running total for total miles.

TripIt linking problemHi, I was happy to see that the duplication has disappeared from the drop down when selecting a TripIt item to link an expense to, but I'm now getting an Internal server error. I'll send you a screen shot.

Recording mileage for easy tax returnsI'd like to be able to record mileage in a separate field so that I can get a total just as I would an amount. This would be particularly useful when I'm submitting my tax return as I have to enter the total amount of business mileage that I've undertaken during the relevant tax year..

Moira asked a question in Atlantic Dominion Solutions on April 17, 2009 13:44:
What's the point of syncing with TripIt?It's taken me a while to figure out how to put this, but basically, what's the point of syncing with TripIt?
I spend a lot of time entering information into TripIt including, dates, times and costs. I think I expected to see these things pulled across into expens'd when I created a new expense.
I thought I would click create new expense, select the relevant trip and then item from within the trip (using the two existing drop downs) and hey presto, the correct dates and costs would be completed within my expense. I would then associate the tags I want, save and do the next one.
Instead, I create a new expense, tag it, name it, enter the information and then choose the TripIt items from the drop downs. I'm basically repeating the data entry twice and as the drop down for the item within a trip is unclear, it's a frustrating process.
So, what exactly is the point? Is it because I'm using the single user version? I'd happily pay for it if it actually saved me time.

Moira replied on March 31, 2009 19:07 to the idea "Recording VAT" in Atlantic Dominion Solutions:
Hi Robert,
The VAT field would be another field, but like the amount field, not the tags or the name field (as I don't need to filter on it specifically). I would tag as I normally do, but I'd have additional columns within each report that is generated that are: total before VAT, VAT & Grand Total.
As I mentioned before, in a perfect world, I'd record the total before VAT and the VAT (as the rate can vary so there's no point trying to calculate it in the system) and the system would generate the grand total.
If I need to I can then export the details to CSV and get rid of the columns I don't want for a VAT return.
Does that help or have I muddied the water even more? I'd be happy to mock something up and email it to you if you'd like?
