Hi Rav,
If you're trying to upload a video that's 500MB or larger, you'll definitely want to stick with the MXU because the web uploader doesn't work as well with big video files.
There could beseveral reasons for a slow speed. While it could be a problem assimple bandwidth allocation, this article we've posted on our blog may help explain to you why things can become slow from time to time:
http://www.motionbox.com/content/theb...
Also, please note that the MXU may seem slower than our web uploader, but this is because it slices the files you're uploading and periodically checks each slice that gets uploaded to make sure that it's uploading successfully. So usually, it's a small sacrifice to ensure better reliability. However, if you leave it to upload overnight and your connection is cut off at any time, the MXU will pick up where it left off when it is connected again. We usually recommend our users to upload overnight before they sleep so that the uploading process doesn't seem as slow for them.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns!
Best regards,

Hi Fred,
Thanks for your feedback on this. We're very sorry for the inconvenience, but our search feature isn't currently functioning as it should be. We'll definitely pass along your message to our team though.
For now, you can share your Motionbox profile with friends or family by giving others this URL: http://www.motionbox.com/profiles/USE... (just replace USERNAME with your actual Motionbox user name).

Hi Steven,
You should be seeing the HD embed code below the HD player, and the SD embed code below the SD player. Could you pass along a link to your blog (with the embedded video) so we could take a look at the embed code? If you don't feel comfortable posting a link here, feel free to shoot us an email using the feedback form on our website: http://www.motionbox.com/feedback/new.
Thanks for your patience!

Mona H. replied on August 20, 2009 17:42 to the question "Shorten a Video" in Motionbox:
Hi Donna,
I'm not sure how large your video file is, but if it's just a little bigger than the file size limit, you can try to save your file in a different format that compresses the file more. Here is a list of accepted file types you can upload to Motionbox: http://www.motionbox.com/content/help... and here's a blog post on a list of free video converters and encoders you might find useful: http://www.motionbox.com/content/theb.... You'll also want to see this Help page on our recommended compression settings for upload: http://www.motionbox.com/content/help....
If your video file is much bigger than the file size limit though, another option would be to split your video into smaller segments prior to uploading to Motionbox, You can join all the segments again after uploading, using the Motionbox Mixer.
And as you know, another option would be to upgrade to Motionbox Premium so that you can upload larger video files: http://www.motionbox.com/promotions.
I hope this helps!
All the best,
Mona H.

A comment on the question "Motionbox logo" in Motionbox:
Hi Matt,
Yep, please just email us at support@motionbox.com and we can help you get set up with a Professional account. Pro accounts are for users who want to use Motionbox for commercial/business use, users whose videos receive a high number of views, and users who don't want the "Go to Motionbox" link at the end of their videos. Pro users also get unlimited bandwidth (stream your videos as much as you'd like, no limits). The Pro membership is something that's fairly new, so we're still developing it as we see what our users are looking for (which is why you can't sign up via the website right now).
If you're interested, just shoot us an email (support@motionbox.com) and we'll send a PDF with all of the information!
Best,

Mona H. replied on July 20, 2009 02:07 to the question "Embedding a private video..." in Motionbox:
Hi Steve,
When you embed a private video on a website, we don't provide the embed code at the end of the video (we do for "Open Access" videos), but yes, technically, an advanced user that visits your website can grab the embed code from the source of your web page. But the embed code won't be apparent on the page you embed the video on to the average person.

Hi Page,
Can you let us know your Motionbox user name? I'd like to make sure your account is currently Pro and not Premium (Pro accounts are for those who are using Motionbox professionally or for those users whose videos are heavily streamed). If you have a regular Premium account, the link will still be there.
Let us know if you have any questions!

Hi brownar,
I'm sorry about the playback issues with your Panasonic Lumix AVCHD files!
Our engineering team has taken a closer look and determined this is a bug that will need to be addressed in one of the next builds of the encoders. While we don't know how far away this will be, please feel free to check in with us in a few weeks for a status update.
We appreciate your patience!

Hi there,
That's strange...I'm able to hear the audio in my Motionbox videos without any problems on Firefox.
Are you having this issue with videos in your Motionbox account, videos you've embedded on another website, or both? If possible, please let us know the URL of your website or your Motionbox username so we can see if we experience the same problem with your videos. Feel free to email us at support@motionbox.com if you'd rather not share your username here!
