Already committed to Postbox, I got my license. It cannot last this way though. I've been using it for months and stopped archiving google apps / gmail - silently hoping for this feature. In the meantime, my inbox is getting out of control! It would help to get some direction on how to switch, if topics = labels can't happen...-

Google Groups my Favorites / Alerts FeedI star / make favorite the messages I post so I can check for replies more easily. What would be great is if there was a feed for messages on the threads combined. Even without being favorites. Maybe there is such feed that I've failed to spot. Perhaps alerts with username@gmail.com?

A comment on the idea "Tracker should enable drag and drop transfer of stories between projects" in Pivotal Labs:
Drag / drop to project tabs would be great! I think the labels could be kept hidden (in case the story goes back and with some visual cue?), but maybe we could also have _foreign labels_ and *project-specific labels* with ability to copy from foreign to local (somehow with a story's detail view). If the string matches it's considered the same label and is auto-copied. Perhaps even better is to have groups of projects that share labels (with ability to hide unused labels). I don't know what' easier with regards to tracker's internals. Just thinking out loud. – Orlin M Bozhinov, on August 11, 2009 20:50

Export / import has gotten better, but sometimes there can be several related projects where it's difficult to call which should own a shared story (a story that spans several projects to an extent). Since multi-project stories would probably get messy, perhaps we could have an easier way to move them around?-

Filesystem navigation, implicit playlists, and extra metadataI wish Songbird had a filesystem browser. I carefully organize my music in folders and sub-folders. These could act as playlists. More importantly, things are sometimes easier to find this way - especially since metadata could be missing. I also get into the habit of having artist & album names, the label and year formatted the same way for almost every folder. Surely, metadata can be extracted from that. Even then, some metadata will still be missing. Having the "watched folders" next to my "library" as tree view is what I have been silently waiting for... Songbird is otherwise so awesome! This seems like such a small thing that could make a lot of people happy (for a whole new type of use).

Move Stories to ProjectSometimes a project starts too broad and I need to move certain stories to a separate project. Something like export, based on label or ad-hoc selection, would be nice. Even better -- with a single step: "move to project"?-
