no, ME is a single player RPG. also, while i refer to the kpf acronym as a shorthand, i'm actually using the latest version (4.5.916). (note to self, use SPF as acronym next time.)

kpf + mass effect problem
hi, i got an extremely annoying problem with personal firewall + mass effect (the game) ... after maybe an hour of playing, kpf starts interfering in a very annoying way, dropping me out of the game every few moments with a "can't connect to service" error popup. i even re-installed the whole system, to no avail.

edit: btw, i'm using both kpf and cs for a long time now, and deployed it to all our mobile users at the company too - first time i run into a problem like this.

ps. when the mentioned issue arises, i cannot even stop the kpf service anymore, plus, kpf kind of goes into a "lock down" mode barring all network communication for good.
