Monica reported a problem in StumbleUpon on December 23, 2009 03:29:
Thumbs-ups on Chromebar are not added to your FavoritesHey guys,
We made a few changes to the recommendation system today that seem to have impacted the way favorites are stored when they are thumbed-up via the Chromebar.
We received a couple of reports so far that sites thumbed-up with the toolbar for Chrome are not added to Favorites.
We are looking into this issue - and will post an update tomorrow. In the meantime, if you are trying to save sites to your Favorites, try using the web toolbar or Firefox.
We hope to have this resolved as soon as possible!
Monica
A comment on the question "Chromebar: "Ran out of stumbles in that topic"" in StumbleUpon:
I don't think it's a Chrome specific issue - it happens with other toolbars as well. We have someone looking into it and will probably be able to provide more updates tomorrow. – Monica, on December 23, 2009 03:24

It has not been done intentional! I am a non-native English user myself, and so are many others in this company! We care about everyone immensely and equally. I believe that at the time of release it was not immediately obvious what great impact this bug would have. This is why, as my coworker stated above - we are now working on getting a fix out for this. – Monica, on December 23, 2009 01:17-

This is why I posted the link to the official announcement - because it contains the "meta-category" in bold for every new category added. Woodworking is under "Arts", not hobbies. – Monica, on December 21, 2009 22:18

We've added the "woodworking" topic about a month ago.

So basically I'm not trying to "edit" - but simply to "delete/remove". – Monica, on December 21, 2009 19:50

To go back to my original question/problem: I'm having that issue only with that specific topic. Something happened, perhaps when one of the users embedded an image, that posts looks garbled and overlapped. In the hope to clean it up, I wanted to delete the comments (and re-add them later), but when I attempt to click on the red "Remove" button nothing happens...

A comment on the update "Database Error (December 17, 2009)" in StumbleUpon:
Hi there - just wanted to let you know that the problems you are seeing are not at all related to the interface; but with database storage. They would have happened on the old interface just the same; since they are toolbar, not website specific. These are the pains of growing and placing more load on our databases... we apologize for the inconvenience and are working on bringing the toolbar back to normal speed... :) – Monica, on December 21, 2009 19:36
