The feature we released to handle this kind of situation are viewing schedules. You can filter the time that you view any of your reports between certain hour/day ranges.

To get a sense of how much you goof off at work, you'd use you Monday-Friday 9am-5pm schedule when viewing reports, then to see how much time you worked in the evenings, you could view your reports using a 6pm-12pm schedule.

We released a bunch of upgrades and fixes around goals and alerts on 9/23/2009. Hopefully this included a fix for your problem, let me know if you are still having trouble.

It is now much easier to categorize any application. Just click the icon that looks like a pencil and paper next to any application's category.

Thanks for the heads up! I just pushed a fix out that removes "Everything Else" from all productivity graphs.
