Improvements on the blogWould it be possible to have info on the changes on Soocial, for example in the blog ? For instance, I have been aware of the new interface displaying groups only because I came on Get Satisfaction...
moolligan replied on June 15, 2009 10:34 to the question "Sync program by google --> MESS !!!" in Soocial:
To be more precise, I had the Soocial Outlook sync program installed before I installed the Google one.
So, when I started Outlook for the first time with the new Google program, I don't know what happened : the soocial program might have started its sync first, or maybe the google program first.
I just post this topic to warn other users.
Maybe I could suggest soocial developers to have a look at this new Google program, for two reasons :
- study the way google sync contacts with Outlook, it could be interesting
- make sure google do not hide some contact infos from Outlook to Google Apps or from Google Apps to Outlook, so that when Soocial try to sync from google apps or from Outlook, the sync goes fucked by these hidden infos.

Sync program by google --> MESS !!!Google has launched a new sync program to sync Outlook and Google Apps. Combining this program to a Gmail sync with Soocial led to a real mess. I don't know yet if it comes from this program or from Soocial but by safety, I disabled this program.
Did someone do more tests on it ?

Matching interfaceConsidering the problem of matching fields that obviousely cannot match (for instance, field in a source that doesn't exist in another), and accepting the fact that software editors will never agree on a complete contact scheme, wouldn't it be more realistic to consider the following idea :
In a new "Property" page, allow users of Soocial to determine the matching of every field from a source to another (or from a source to the central database in social).
Which means creating a complete contact scheme in soocial, with a maximum amount of fields so that each particularity of each source can be synced with soocial, and then the user chose where to sync an unexisting field in another source.
Am I dreaming ?
