I have the same problem on http://blog.morgaine-lefaye.net
I'm sure I added the page ID. In fact, I chose to add a link to my fan page in the community application of the toolbar, and that works correctly.
No idea of how to fix this.

Morgaine reported a problem in Soup on August 17, 2009 17:18:
Lost admin status for newly created group while wanting to change lay-out and hitting the wrong buttonEwww, same thing happened to me as has already happened to others: when I wanted to change the lay-out of the newly created http://corsets.soup.io/ , I accidentally hit the wrong button. One shouldn't be able to de-admin oneself, at least not so easily.
And, please, reinstate admin status for my other group as well. I created it quite a while ago, but then noticed it was public, and I didn't see a way to make it a private group. Thank you in advance.
My Soup is http://morgaine.soup.io/

Morgaine reported a problem in Soup on March 28, 2008 22:05:
Existing user: I can log in, yet can't get past the sign up pageSince the recent maintenance update, I can't get to my page any more. http://morgaine.soup.io exists, I can log in, I can see the front page, and the various tabs (Everyone, Friends, Friends of Friends), on pages of people that have befriended me, I can see my latest post when I hover over the little icon that represents me, but each time I want to go to my page, I get redirected to http://www.soup.io/signup
This also happens when my friends want to go to my page. Please solve this. Thank you in advance !
nex's reply to "Posts not appearing on the front page" was just promoted to the most useful! Morgaine and 2 other people think it's one of the best replies.
Christopher, I consider the specific complaint you linked to bogus (not necessarily per se, but in the context of this discussion, more on that in a bit). I had seen it shortly after it had been posted and it made me curious, so I used the endless view of the main www.soup.io page to scroll through hundreds and hundreds of post, approx. 24 hours' worth of them, and found exactly _one_ user who'd posted quite erotic nude pix, but no genitalia or hardcore stuff. Apart from those, there was _one_ case of full frontal nudity; that one was a drawing, though. All other naked creatures I'd seen were animals, mostly cats. Now obviously not every day is exactly like this, and Morgaine posted stuff that sometimes went a little bit further, so, yes, there is a chance people will see stuff that offends them. It's a _small_ chance, of the kind of magnitude where automatic filtering doesn't really help and semi-automatic filtering isn't all that effective either. But the actual reason why I said that one complaint is bogus is that you certainly don't get "dozens and dozens of nudes" in your soup, unless you're subscribing to the 'wrong kind of friends'. If you'd like them to change, you'll have to talk to them, not to soup. Which is probably the intent behind gem's post anyway.
There _is_ a more significant number of picture posts that show a lot of skin on soup, but then the same is true of Vienna bus stops. No big deal IMHO.
Are you really sure this filtering limits your legal liability; did you check with a lawyer/expert? I understand that in many common situations, it's worse to redact content and let off-limits stuff slip through than not doing any redacting at all. Also, it might help to lay out the rules of what is and isn't allowed on soup and make the existence and URL of that document obvious to people signing up.
I think a system for flagging content as 'mature' is a good idea. You might even use your copious spare time (j/k) to implement this on two levels: People voluntarily flagging their own posts as appropriate, and people flagging _other_ posters' stuff. In your options, you could then choose a level of protection: self-flagged only, flagged by one (or more) of your friends, flagged by anyone. Of course in another dimension there are also two levels: filtering per post or per postER. Lots of work, I'm afraid, so I can totally understand that it'll take a while and that you chose to take interim measures.
In the long term, though, I'd like the unpublicised stealth censorship to stop. And once the flagging feature is in place, please don't call it 'NSFW'. I suppose most people who use the term attempt to do so tongue-in-cheek, but it's still ripe with cowardly hypocrisy. I'd choose 'mature'. I assume you'd want to make this opt-out rather than op-in; if so, please make it clear to new users who sign up (plus the currently registered ones) that it is there and can be changed. Not everyone checks the preferences dialog regularly.
