The pressed seat tower was introduced during the end of what you call the A model. I bought the first one that had the pressed seat tower in January, '96. Unfortunetly, around the same time they switched from the Noleen or Fox, can't remember which one, to a really cheap Asin made shocks. One of a few really bad decisions that Mountain Cycle made. I was forced to spend a lot of money right away for a Stratos Helix Pro.

I would call it: The 50-50 replacement program. "Scheme", doesn't sound very good.

The SA could and should be a 5" travel bike. It is to heavy to be anything less. It could easily be redesigned to look the same or have a little more modern look and have modern geomety.
