SBBD.exe Program not found - Skipping auto checkHi there
I have exactly the same problem as another thread by the same title. Just thought I'd post a new topic as the thread was 3 months old.
On boot just before windows opens I get the message:
SBBD.exe Program not found - Skipping auto check
I have tried sorting this problem out myself by having a Google but there's little or no information and this thread didn't help my problem.
Can you please confirm that this is indeed a Sunbelt Software program. I've read that it could possibly stand for 'Sunbelt Boot Delete Utility'.
I don't have Viper installed but I did have Counterspy. I also have ESET Nod32
Anti-virus and I recently updated that to ESET Smart Security 4.
I starrted to get the boot error so I deleted and reinstalled Counterspy to see if that made a difference. It didn't. Then I read it's a .exe associated with Viper, something I've never downloaded.
I uninstalled Eset, installed Viper to see if SBBD.exe would appear in my System32 folder and it doesn't.
I have uninstalled both Viper and Counterspy with CS&V Clean from the sunbelt site and run CCleaner but I'm still getting the SBBD.exe error.
If this is a Sunbelt product what is still on my machine that it goes looking for it before windows fully boots up?
Many thanks in advance:)
