MPS asked a question in ExpanDrive on May 19, 2009 17:29:
Slowness when searching remote files and when using SVNSearching for strings in the mounted file system is extremely slow, regardless of the application used (Eclipse, EditPlus, Windows File Explorer, etc.).
Admittedly there are a lot of files to search through (about 50K) but using find/grep on the remote system returns in a few seconds, vs. over 5 minutes on the Windows side.
Similar performance with SVN updates.
Is there something I can do to speed things up?

Suggestions for improving Yahoo! Mail's spam protectionI’m really getting fed up with Yahoo! Mail’s terrible spam filter and am considering switching to a different service.
Lately I’ve missed a number of important emails from people in my address book because they were blocked by the Yahoo! spam filter, while every single damn day, a generous helping of Viagra ads, foreign money transfer scams, and porn site solicitations sail on through undetected.
Yahoo! could take the following simple steps to improve their spam protection:
1 - provide a “whitelist” feature like Hotmail does
2 - any email address I send to should automatically be added to my “whitelist”/address book
3 - any email with a date more than X into the future (1 year?) should be automatically flagged as spam. (a very large percentage of my spam has a date many years into the future)
