How do I restart an encoding?

I have a couple of recordings that are getting the encoding failed error due to my server running out of disk space overnight. How can I restart the encoding?

One simple solution would be to use the mp4 that panopto generates and then wrap that mp4 in a Flash based player that could be easily embedded. With the new autoswitching that they are doing in the next version this would be a very good solution.

I think the bigger use would be creating a new session from a video file. For example if the computer fails during recording I would like a way to upload a DVD (I can rip the DVD) backup to course session. Obviously I would lose the powerpoint chapter points and screen capture but it would allow for a quick recovery from a problem.

http://www.polycom.com/products/voice... I'm not sure if this is the exact model that we use, but it is something close to this. We then have a couple of boundary layer mics ceiling mounted for students, a wireless label and a desk mic all hooked into this.

What exactly do you mean by voice tracking? We use a vortex mixer in some of out classrooms to auto switch between instructor and student mics.

Thanks for the quick reply. This might be a feature to consider adding in the future... some sort of a way to upload a powerpoint in the editor and then assign slide transition points.
