Just tried to sync my Samsung i900 with Synthesis AG (http://www.synthesis.ch/) using
1. Server: sync.soocial.com
2. Username: your Soocial username (your email)
3. Password: your Soocial password
It took several loads to sync all my 1500 contacts, but it worked very well.

gya24jk replied on August 27, 2008 04:02 to the question "push email instead of SMS?" in Twitter:
Twitter.com notifications is borked. Instant messaging (a free service) has been offline for months. SMS for most international users is switched off.
I can understand about international SMS: it is expensive for Twitter, because it's an overpriced way of sending data.
Ideally, everyone should move to sending/receiving messages via push email instead (i.e. pay for data). Why not incorporate email into notifications instead? Going through 3rd parties such as twittermail or rsstoemail services is a cop out, and indicates the demand for these services.
Using applications such as twitterific or websites such as m.twitter.com/slandr.net/hahlo.com isn't an alternative for notifications, because the notifications aren't "pushed" to the phone.

Hi scionguy,
Windows Mobile phones aren't support yet sorry! Most phones have the software built-in but Windows Mobile hasn't.
Synthesis AG (http://www.synthesis.ch/) has some sync-client applications for Windows Mobile but we haven't tested those yet to see if they work with Soocial.

Hi there, the problem is that every phone is different and thus have different interfaces and menu structures where to fill in that information.
We are working on a system that shows you how to set things up manually for every phone that we support but no ETA on that yet. – Stefan Fountain, on July 10, 2008 14:39

mdy replied on June 12, 2008 01:31 to the question "Has anyone been able to use rss feed to send emails to gmail or other account from twitter?" in Twitter:
There are three RSS feed URLs related to your account.
You'll find each of them at the bottom left corner of the relevant Twitter page. It's a small box labeled "RSS"
1. Your Recent RSS (also known as 'with friends')
is at the bottom of http://twitter.com/home
2. Your Archive RSS (which contains only your tweets)
is at the bottom of http://twitter.com/account/archive
3. Your Replies RSS (which contains only @replies to you)
is at the bottom of http://twitter.com/replies
There's also a public timeline RSS, which appears at the bottom of the Everyone page at http://twitter.com/public_timeline
Note: Both your Recent RSS and your Replies RSS currently require authentication. Meaning, only people who have the correct user id and password can access those RSS feeds.
The Public Timeline and the Archive RSS are both currently unprotected, so they can be subscribed to via RSS readers like Google Reader (which currently do not support authenticated feeds).
If you intend to create emails based on your Recent (with friends) RSS, you'll need an RSS forwarder that can handle authenticated feeds.
