mr_projects started following the question "How do you view the total number of hours accumulated in a single day?" in Slife Labs.
mr_projects shared an idea in Slife Labs on March 07, 2009 20:17:
Total hours for the day in the top rightA feature missing is to quickly have a glimpse of the total hours worked per day, It'll be much easier if there was a "total hours today" in the top right, because having to view the total hours when im in the goals section, is more than two clicks, first a click to the applications tab, another click over the month button, and then trying to see which day it is and seeing where the bar has reached in terms of hours.. it's frustrating for a simple thing
I suggest adding the ability to select the same application in the goals section more than once, in this case I would create a goal and name it "daily activity" for instance, select every single app, and the total hours would appear in front of me. Also with this, I could see when my daily activity goal has reached and see a growl notification for it, it would help reminding me if I stayed too long.
I hope you would consider this idea,
Thankyou

Growl notification when a goal is reachedIt'll be cool adding this feature, say I was working on a project, and I've allotted 5 hrs per day to work on it, after reaching that goal, it would be nice having growl notifying me that I reached it, even customize the message, like "Your done for today, have some rest :)"
How easy is that to implement ?
Thanks,
Mr. Projects
