Seesmic desktop will not open!

The desktop Seesmic will not open but only shows the icon in the tray. When I right click on the icon, open is grayed out. I can open the panel to change settings and that is it.

I have tried Twitterrific and TwitterFon but I don't see where I can add text to show up underneath the photo on twitpic. Help!
