Hey that's great... Now you are good to go and on the up and up... Great job on the little change... I hope it pays off – Ed-a-Torials @ Honey Bear Playhomes, on October 21, 2009 02:56
A comment on the update "Introducing Yola Pro" in Yola:
Link back aside it still is an infringement or alteration of a respected trademark which has implications in itself and I was pointing out that you might wish to rethink the editing of the logo as they have in the past had issue with others that did so. Yours may very well be innocent but it directly goes against the previously stated TOS.

I think that you are misinterpreting that which was stated by Monique as to the image you presented to her in that thread. It appears that you altered the image after you posted and that is the issue I see and not that you asked for permission and was granted it but used permission then changed it after.
Here is an alternate to editing the image. Become a Commission Junction affiliate and place a banner on your site which earns you money instead.

Hi Kim and welcome...
While the Paypal widget in the site builder currently does not have the features you want it is possible to go straight to the horses mouth so to speak and make one on the Paypal website and embed it in your YOLA website.
If you don't already have a Paypal account please drag a Paypal widget onto your page and sign up through the widget so that YOLA gets the credit for your sign up. ;) Once you have signed up delete the widget from your page as you will not be using it.
After you have an account:
1) Sign into your Pay-pal account https://www.paypal.com
2) Click the "Merchant services" tab in the horizontal menu
3) Click the "Buy Now Button" or the "Add to Cart Button"
4) Choose button type and enter name and payment details
5) Check the box to the left of "Add drop down menu with price options"
6) Name your menu items (size, color... ect) and set your price for each item, size or color.
7) Check the box to the left of "Add text field" and type in something along the lines of "Please add your sentiment here"
To make sure that you never over sell your product:
8) Click the "Track inventory, profit and loss" blue bar and then check the "Track inventory" box
9) Enter the "Item ID" and input your quantity and alert quantity
10) When done editing click "Create Button"
11) In the next window and in the (Website) code box click the "Select Code"
12) Right click on the highlighted text and click "Copy"
13) Open your site editor and drag an HTML widget where you need it
14) In the HTML widget paste the code
15) Then Preview or Update your site or page
Do this for each of your items.
Here is a thread relating to adding a Flickr gallery to your site.

I hope that helps you out and happy site building.

Gabriel
My comment about your use of the YOLA logo was more of a backward attempt to say hey YOLA look at his modification of your trademarked logo and the fact that it was taken from a page that clearly states and I quote...
Badge do's and don'ts:
* The badges are for use only on your Yolasite and not for broad distribution or other non-Yola channels.
* Do not distort the badge, always maintain its original proportions.
* Do not alter the shape, configuration or proportions of the badge.
* Do not add text or graphics to the badge.

A comment on the update "Introducing Yola Pro" in Yola:
I personally cannot speak for Boomer or John but I find it rather rude, bad taste and just pain insulting that you in other posts try to cut down YOLA's fine service then do an about face and in the same breath sell your "Services" in a forum which is clearly not an advertising classifieds site...
I do believe that all three of our comments were related to your post in general as an ad placed here to drum up business for your site. This is not craigslist and I for one would prefer not to see it spammed up like crazy...
If you have something constructive, positive and a benefit to the community that shows something which can help others build and better their sites then to place your URL would be perfectly acceptable but if you or any other member out their (you guys know who you are) simply add posts or threads to try to benefit your site then I say please stop.
This topic of advertising on GS has come up countless times and at each occurrence it has been met with the same disdain and dislike by all members. Please let's keep it free from this type of advertising... – Ed-a-Torials @ Honey Bear Playhomes, on October 21, 2009 00:27

You know the output quality that this tool has is by far one of the best. I take PNG images of 400KB and turn them into JPGs of 60KB that have all the quality of the original PNG. I quite enjoy this one truly I do...
For the larger images it is invaluable... – Ed-a-Torials @ Honey Bear Playhomes, on October 19, 2009 10:17

Another great online image compression utility... A Honey Bear Playhomes tip...Another great online image compression utility for those larger images that you might have a difficult time optimizing elsewhere. I use it religiously...
The image output quality from PNG to JPG is truly one of the best around and my site would not look as good as it does without it. ;)

Legally place a movie or TV show on your website... A Honey Bear Playhomes tip...
Ed-a-Torials @ Honey Bear Playhomes shared an idea in Yola on October 19, 2009 09:33:
Legally place a movie or TV show on your website... A Honey Bear Playhomes tip...In the past I had seen many users place questionable videos on their websites that were not legal to place there. The reasons are many but mostly were due to piracy and I wanted offer an alternative to breaking the law. We all l have seen Google videos and the plethora of choices that are amassed there but not all shows they list are legally there. There are certain cases where you should NOT embed a YouTube video. If the video you see is of some commercial TV show or movie, even if there is an EMBED code, it is not wise to embed it. While it is of course possible that the commercial TV or movie company put up the video themselves and want others to embed it, there is also a chance that someone other than the copyright owners has illegally uploaded the video. Embedding such videos puts your site (and you) at risk. You may have the most innocent of intentions, but if the copyright owner takes you to court, you'll end up spending money, wasting time, worrying unnecessarily, just to prove your innocence. It's simply not worth it.
Here is a safe alternative to those residing in the US and one that wont get a cease and desist order telling you to remove it because these are right from the film makers themselves...

A comment on the question "How to instruct paypal I have limited stock?" in Yola:
Hi Daniel
If you are using the Paypal widget in the site builder then I do not believe so but if you have created your button with the Paypal website then yes...
1) Sign into your Pay-pal account https://www.paypal.com
2) Click the "Merchant services" tab in the horizontal menu
3) In the "Create Buttons" section click on the "My Saved Buttons" link
4) Find your item(Button) and click on the "Action" down arrow button to the right of the item name then click "Edit Button"
5) Click on the blue Step 2 Track inventory bar
6) Tick the "Track inventory" box
7) Adjust your "Qty. in stock" and "Alert qty" to your stock in hand.
8) Make any other adjustments and click the yellow "Save Changes" button to lock in your quantity.
It is that simple...
Happy site building

A comment on the question "The Honey Bear went in for a face-lift..." in Yola:
You guys are killin me... ;) LOL
Have you heard of baby steps? LOL I could not simply add the comment bubble to the image because it would not fit due to the way that it was drawn in addition to the fact that the sun looked funny when I edited it to close its mouth so I am doing the mouse over flash instead. I had to get something on the page and thus was the reason that I added it without (temporarily)
I am not Robo-site builder you know ;) I need a break once in a while...
Patience my friends... Good to know that we are thinking alike on this one though ;) – Ed-a-Torials @ Honey Bear Playhomes, on October 17, 2009 22:48
A comment on the question "The Honey Bear went in for a face-lift..." in Yola:
LOL lemme write one first... ;)
Seeing as how most searches relating to the subject are for imagemaps within a flash which can be a pain in themselves and what I am trying to do is have a flash take the place of the base image when the sun is moused over I have to pull this one out of a hat so to speak. The reason that I am trying to do it this way is that of course an image loads much faster than a flash does and seeing as how not everybody will click on the sun it seems a waste to make the page take longer to load than to simply use an imagemap with a flash attached.
I am taking a few days away from the process but will fill you in once I have it worked out... ;) – Ed-a-Torials @ Honey Bear Playhomes, on October 17, 2009 22:27
