What's worse than RealMedia, Flock and Gigya combined? http://2.static.getsatisfaction.com/u...
    http://technorati.com/xxxx

After TRYING unsuccesfully to make use of Technorati (although still not seeing any evidence of its benefit), I've realized that there's not a fucking thing on your site that works.

Your cutting-edge (read cumbersome) js-kit accomplished near-crash on this and a previous attempt (Why don't you install Gigya next [Gigya: 'Where the Blogger Can't Ever Log In'], or somehow, maybe you could integrate RealPlayer Audio into your service to really fuck things up, or what's that MySpace Profile Generator...).

I see no evidence that anyone benefits from your service. And even if that weren't the case: My first attempt at claiming a new blog (still processing: see more glowing reviews on Get Satisfaction), and editing an old entry written almost two years ago when I recall some of the same impressions, ended exactly as tonight.

Nothing updated, No information, No explanation, No resource links, No navigation links, No indication that anything about Technorati is inline with the online community.

Good luck with the fucking-up blogger biz.

Is this the same Uploader as Flock uses?
Is this the same Photo Uploader which Flock uses? I've just gotten rid of Flock and now only use Firefox 3.5, and while it's the best thing I ever did, the only thing I miss is the Photo Uploader/Photo Bar which I used for years. So far I can't find anything like it through Mozilla apps. Could someone help answer or provide a suggestion. And if anyone knows who makes that addon and if it is available for Firefox please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Uninstall Flock Before Install Firefox?
I want to install Firefox. But before I do, I want to know if I should uninstall Flock first? I really have enjoyed Flock all these years, but just want to try running something without it for a while to see how my browser speed is effected. And I don't employ any of the cross-social network features which Flock has initiated (I think to the detriment of its performance).

I'd also like to find out if there is a way to save the photos in my photo cache from Flock before uninstalling. The Photobar is the main reason I've kept Flock for so long: and I will miss that feature.

    thanks,

Cache Option Setting for Slow Browser? Currently 60 mb
which setting should i use for my cache in the options control. Currently set at 60 mb. I'm trying to everything i can to speed up my browser which continues to be remarkably slow.

also: Any suggestions not from Official Fock Team about disabling some of the social aps (which i've been warned against by flock but which i have no use for nevertheless: I've at least stopped it from collecting my Delicious Favorites which seemed to help, and I logout of Facebook (don't know if that does anything) Taken all feeds out of photobar and favorites).
I've asked on numerous occasions of Flock staff but can only get a link to their tuneup page as an answer. thanks.

OH, Also: Is there any reason that Apture Blog Application would not be functioning properly if it uses a firefox plugin which i installed for it's search of my blogsite?

mrjyn replied on October 08, 2009 21:10 to the problem "Apture Not showing previous post or site results" in Apture, Inc.:

    mrjyn
i'm removing this reply because after two months of trying to find out why my apture was not working in blogger for site search and previous posts, andrew decided to send me a feed url (which happened to be the only thing working properly). I really lost my temper and apologize.

You see, the feed URL he sent which was already working properly ALSO happened to be the feed to a San Rafael California Newspaper. (This was after two months of weekly emails--which may help explain why i lost my temper)

Now if someone could possibly try and help check my script or other settings or analytics or feedburner, maybe I could use Apture the way it was intended.

Apture Not showing previous post or site results
After three months of trying to get my apture account to show previous results and site search with Andrew of Apture Support, Andrew sent me this link to try to solve the problem of my feed (which is the only site-oriented function that currently shows results)

    http://the-signal.com/syndication/fee...

Not my site. My site is http://www.visualguidanceltd.blogspot...

You were invited and are an editor with administrative function on this blogger site.

I have spent countless hours trying to explain the problems, and it seems you don't even know which site I'm on.

    Can someone else please help?

    mrjyn
ok, thanks. i fixed it...an the last thing i wanted to do was revisit, but my southern etiquette prevailed.

now, could you help me disable most of the FLOCK features that make my computer run like molasses? oh, and this would be another instance of having done all of the usual things listed on the Flock page of 'clean running' or whatevs. so since no one ever answered my "Flock Lite" question awhile back, I assume that means there is not such an animal.

But surely, there has to be a way to take out the Facebook and Twitter toolbar or whatever that's called, and disable other big leaches for us old guys with old computers.

No? I even still delete Lucene from time to time from advice I received a year or so ago. I've been asking this question for a while now. So it's not urgent. It'll give you time to put your thinking cap on.

thanks for the info about the photobar. Don't forget to remind people to clear out the blanks at the end of the photo queue next time...even us old pros forget Flock 101 every now and again.

p.s. if anyone might be able to help with the fact that i still can't post to twitter after the dos, please let me know.

@russell_carp can't post at all...not talking about phone or api (babies). can't post from twitter site... can't favorite or follow...little arrow just spins around indefinitely...well, way past my tolerance level, at least. i think the longest i tried was 3 or 4 minutes just to test. i saw you reply @mrjyn but obviously i couldn't messsage you there.

i'm not frantic or anything. it would just be nice.

    what's up? anyone?

I'd strongly suggest that you create new threads for each specific issues you're currently having, as this one is starting to get long and confusing.

CAN'T GET NO SATISFACTION - DOWNloaded Flock 2.5.1 - Still JAVA ERROR - PHOTO UPLOADER WTF?
STILL UNABLE TO UPLOAD PICTURES TO ANY PHOTO SVC - RECEIVE JAVA ERROR
I am still unable to upload the photos stuck in my FLOCK PHOTO UPLOADER to any service: Flickr, Faceboob, Photobucket or Picassa. I recieve the Java Application Error.

I downloaded the latest Java Application yesterday, and it did NOT change anything in this regard.

Could someone please instruct me on what to do about this?

BELOW IS THE LAST CONTACT I HAD REGARDING THIS ISSUE:

    mrjyn,

    Regarding issues with :

    - Picasa : we're currently getting an error when viewing a Picasa stream, and that's a known recent bug. You should still be able to upload pictures to your Picasa account using Flock's uploader. CAN'T

Please try it and verify your uploaded pictures on your Picasa site. If it's not working, I'd suggest that you upload your pictures using Picasa site for your monday project. DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT SENTENCE

    - Flickr and Facebook : are you sure you're seeing the same message "There was an error in processing your request. YES

Please try again. If this persists please try restarting Flock"? DID THAT

Were you trying to load your own Flickr or Facebook media stream when that message appears? YES

Just FYI, we did have some issues with Flickr but they were already resolved in Flock 2.5.1 (downloadable at www.flock.com) JUST DOWNLOADED IT.

    IT'S OFFICIAL: this sucks,
