What development tools do you use to create Mockup for Desktop ?Peldi,
I'm interested in developing Air applications.
What IDE + tools do you use ?-

A comment on the problem "After AIR 1.5 upgrade, Mockups can't remember Show UI Library / Notebook preferences" in Balsamiq:
Peldi,
Thanks, I simply installed the 1.5.23 version, and the problem is gone. I didn't have anything else to do, and now it remembers the settings after shutting down the app.
BTW, I'm on XP Pro.

Peldi,
as always your support is very much appreciated. I wish some other companies had this kind of appreciation toward their customers.
About this 2 lines button, I notice that the first line is always bold. Could this be configurable ? I didn't really need a bold first line, just the possibility to have more than one line of text.
Thanks

Peldi,
Here's a screenshot of such a problem:

As you can see in the upper left corner, a ComboBox got stuck there, and now there's no way to remove it from there and I'm unable to drag&drop UI elements onto the page.
I don't really remember the sequence of events that lead to the UI locking up. I'll try to be more carefull.
BTW, this is 1.NEXT.177

Hehehe... my dreams come true !!! A picture of an iPhone !!!
I really appreciate the work and efforts you put in this product Peldi. I know you must evaluate and prioritize all those requests, and maybe what I'm suggesting is already on your TODO list, or maybe not. I'm just entering them here as they come to me, so whatever I suggest is not necessarily urgent. Just nice to have.

Peldi,
Yes, the inspector works well, but sometimes it's more "natural" to use the keyboard to do those "fine tunning" adjustments.
I just happened to see this post, and was wondering what direction you had decided to go. If you were to decide to implement resizing of widget with the arrows, I feel it would be close to what we are used to with our IDEs.

Button with multi line centered text and smaller fontI was playing with the XML for a Button, and to my great delight, I was able to apply properties that are not part of the regular "UI settings". I was basically looking for a way to have a Button with 2 lines of centered text and with smaller font.
I just thought I'd share with the community:
<mockup version="1.0" skin="sketch">
<controls>
<control controlID="211" controlTypeID="com.balsamiq.mockups::Button" x="1158" y="422" w="85" h="40" zOrder="58" locked="false" isInGroup="-1">
<controlProperties>
<text>Create/Modify%0ALabel</text>
<align>center</align>
<size>10</size>
true
</controlProperties>
</control>
</controls>
</mockup>
I'm wondering, if those properties can be applied through XML, why wouldn't they be part of the Property Setting UI ?
Also, being able to enter a line break directly in the UI would be nice.
Just some ideas. I'm really having fun with this software.

mrlucmorin reported a problem in Balsamiq on November 28, 2008 17:23:
Using Quick Add sometimes "crashes" 1.5Hi,
This version adds a lot of new widgets, such as the Groupbox, and I find it overall to be of an excellent quality.
I'd like to report on a small problem though. Sometimes, when I hide the UI library and select a widget by entering its name, and then click on one of the suggested names, the whole screen becomes grey and I can't interact with anything else until I Undo my change. I have not seen this behavior when dragging UI elements from the UI library. This doesn't happen very often, maybe 1 out of 15 selections.
Keep up the good work.
