Sync Songbird to iPodIs it possible for Songbird to import playlist and metadata information from an iPod?-

So...let me clarify. You want a message saying that the file can't store metadata, but it will be in Songbird, and then below that message you want a "never show me again" option, after which you get a message telling you that the file can't store metadata, but it will be in Songbird? Is that the gist of what you want to happen?

Just because other music players do it too doesn't mean that it should be there. I can't imagine there are awfully many people out there who edit metadata in Songbird with the express, sole purpose of editing the metadata in the music file - surely if they wanted to do that, they'd edit the file itself. Whereas if I edit metadata in Songbird, I want it to show up in songbird, I don't really care if it shows up in the file itself or not. I still think there should be a 'don't show me again' option, which would apply to all sessions.

songbird *really* slowSongbird is really, REALLY slow. I definitely know it is not my computer - I got it just a month ago, and everything else works fine on it:
Core i7 920 3.0GHz
MSI Eclipse Motherboard
6GB DDR3-1333 (with XP 32-bit only ~4GB, though)
And yet, it lags when you drag the window around, everything takes ages to do. Editing metadata for more than ~20 songs at a time causes it to momentarily freeze, the search-as-you-type thing takes ages to update itself, going from double-click on a song to actually playing it is about 5 seconds, switching between playlists is really slow and going back to the library is even worse, scrolling is laggy, and manipulating songs (moving them round, deleting them, adding them, everything) is just woefully slow. I originally switched from iTunes because Songbird 1.0 was faster, but honestly, with the performance boosts with iTunes 8, and Songbird 1.1 and 1.1.2 getting slower and slower, I am seriously considering switching back.

songbird freezes on startup exactly half the timeSongbird freezes at startup exactly half the time. Every single time I start Songbird (even if I closed it previously and reopened it some time later), and I double-click to play a song, it freezes. I can't scroll through my library, change playlists, change songs, access the File, Edit, etc. menus, change volume, search, or even exit Songbird with the X button. The only way to get it working is to terminate the process using Task Manager and restart it. After which it always works.-

Make the .wav metadata warning go away!Any time I want to edit metadata for .wav's, it always comes up with that warning window saying the file can't store metadata and that songbird metadata is now 'inconsistent' with file metadata. After being told about 200 times, I don't really want to know. Can we add in a "don't show this message again" option?-

iPod Classic won't sync properlyHey, can someone help me out? I'm running Songbird 1.1.2, and I'm using it to synch my 6th-gen 120GB iPod. It won't sync properly; when I press sync, it works fine for about 2GB, then Songbird freezes, music stops playing and I have to kill the process. The data that was synced onto the iPod before it froze is not recognized under "Music", but "Other". So it doesn't show up in the iPod, and I can't listen to any of it.
Any ideas? And also, how do I get rid of the "Other" data without taking out any of my music, once I've synced it?
Thanks in advance
