Yes this is the problem that is described with file system integration support on x64. But when will this bug be fixed and you get answer from the third party developers?

I need the filesystem integration for my personal backups and without backups are hard to do.

Wuala don't start on Windows XP x64 SP2 with Java Version 1.6.0_13
I've just setup a new pc with Windows XP x64 SP2 with german mui pack and java version 1.6.0_13.

When I try to start Wuala it crashes without any message within a few seconds to one minute. What maybe the problem and how can I get an error message or something like that, so that someone here can help me?

SSL Certificate is weak and based on MD5
When I open https links from shared folders I get a warning that your used SSL Certificate has an MD5 RSA signature which was shown in the near past as not to be secure anymore because the weakness was shown by an attack.

Until when will you change your SSL encryption to get it more secure again?

    MrSpocky66
I got an answer von Wuala Support: at the moment this behaviour is "work as designed" and Wuala let the os decide to remove temp files.

In my opinion not very clever programming. An application has to remove its use files on his own, and not to wait until the os or someone else removes them. :-(

So I'm waiting and hoping that the next releases of Wuala will get a better file handling and remove their temporary used temp files.

Strange use of Temp folders and no deletion of them
I'm using Wuala Version PC 149 and confused about the behaviour of Wuala using Temp folders and that these folders never get cleaned after usage. here some details when I move some files from my local partition, for example drive e:\, to my network drive of wuala w:\:

    - copy two video files from E:\... to one folder in wuala on drive w:\
    - first wuala copies files to my local profile temp path "Dokumente und Einstellungen\Frank\Lokale Einstellungen\Temp\Wuala Temp" and adds some more data in "Dokumente und Einstellungen\Frank\Lokale Einstellungen\Temp\Wuala Temp\Upload"
    - then wuala encrypts these files and stores a copy in the local data cache folder "...\Local2\Large..."
    - after this wuala begins to upload the files to the wuala servers

    - after uploading all files NO CLEARING begins of temp folders in local profile temp path "Dokumente und Einstellungen\Frank\Lokale Einstellungen\Temp\Wuala Temp"

    - so for now I've my data THREE times on my local hard disk
    - orginial file
    - file in temp folder
    - file in local data cache folder

I think, that this is confusing and a little bit to much on storing files.

    - Why does Wuala not automatically clean his own Temp folders after uploading, restart etc.?
    - Can I delet the Temp folders without any problems?

    Regards
    Frank
