Ms. Herr asked a question in Brightkite on April 29, 2009 03:23:
restore privacy at this place settings to defaultI am unable to get a particular check-in/placemark to show up by name or address. Months ago, I adjusted "privacy at this place" settings for my exact home address. I have since found a more desirable method for checking into home (named "Pebbletini" and pointing to a nearby intersection). I would like Pebbletini to show publicly, but each time I check in, it posts as if it were marked for privacy. I have tried to change my "privacy at this place" settings at all addresses/locations at and near my home address back to "always public" or "according to my current privacy settings", but have been unsuccessful in getting Pebbletini to appear publicly.
Can you clear all of my "privacy at this place" settings so I can start from scratch?-

Ms. Herr asked a question in Reserve Chute on October 20, 2008 20:51:
What services would you like chutes for?Basecamp (non-SSL), Campfire, Gmail, Delicious, and Twitter were the first services we tackled for the beta release (happening very soon). We'll continue to build some hooks or chutes ourselves, but we're also building in the capability for others to contribute their own hooks.
Is there a particular service that you'd like to see a chute developed for? Make a suggestion here. Please the service name (e.g.: Twitter) and what data you want pulled (e.g.: your updates vs. your friends updates).
Ms. Herr replied on May 03, 2008 14:32 to the problem "Mobile messages not getting through" in Brightkite:
I am a Verizon user, so maybe it's the source of the problem, but...
I couldn't post a note to my location last night http://twitter.com/MsHerr/statuses/80... (btw, thanks @brightkite for prompt response) which was very disappointing cause I was trying to show someone how awesome Brightkite (and Twitter sharing) was. When I got home, I discovered the check-in that I tried to SMS didn't take.
Consequently, I also sent POSTPHOTO and never got a response.
Ms. Herr replied on April 30, 2008 04:57 to the question "Is there a known problem with SMS notification to Verizon Wireless users?" in Twitter:
I've had to turn notifications back on three times today, and my roommate has also had the same problem several times. In the last 4 hours, I've missed 2 @'s, 1 DM, and 12 updates from people I have notifies turned *on* for. I've missed SMS before and I accept that it'll happen once in awhile, but I don't want to miss 90% or more of my updates because one SMS fails!-
