Actually the web is working faster now. That's good. :-)
On Apple Mail, I've shut off Imap. Just turned it back on. We'll see.
I'm not really sure why the Iphone didn't work though.
I'm only frustrated in the point I was renting a DVD at Redbox and I had a coupon for a free on on my otherinbox and couldn't access it. :-)
I did test Imap under Wifi on the iphone later in the day and it did load after a smaller wait. So it seems like there is maybe a lot of data transfer that just doesn't work under 3G?

I wouldn't say most have a lot in them, and I haven't seen a correlation between amount of emails and load time. They all seem to take a long time to load.
Sometimes, they load immediately, even the mailboxes with a lot of emails. So I'm a bit puzzled.
Looking forward to seeing it move faster. I know you guys have a great team working on it!

as slow as molassas in january. The website is soooooo slow that it's really unusable. It takes over 20 seconds sometimes (often) for any of the message subjects to load when I select a folder, my mac's beach ball rolls and rolls. I have no problem with any other websites.
mstephan replied on March 31, 2009 11:18 to the problem "Some recent bugginess" in OtherInbox:
I'll look as I use it today, but this has been happening for a week or more.
I don't know what a 'large number of messages' means. And I don't think there is a way for me to see really how many messages total I have. I can only see the unread messages.
It just makes my OSX ball spin for quite awhile and makes Firefox unstable to the point it's unusable for 30+ seconds.

Some recent bugginessOIB is really slow today, and for the past week it has made my OSX Firefox 3.0.8 unstable.

I run Calcedon, a web development firm. http://www.calcedon.com
I have had some people come to our firm with a good idea before, but not a lot of technical background. They also needed investment, so I have partnered with them for the start-up. So this is something I have done before. If you'd like to talk, let me know. mstephan@calcedon.com Twitter: mstephan

This feature back-fired. Making people wait for it to be read has created many unhappy people. http://getsatisfaction.com/otherinbox... – mstephan, on December 22, 2008 15:17
A comment on the idea "Message "read" status takes 5+ seconds to clear" in OtherInbox:
Again, I give Kudos to damon, 5 seconds is too long. Who wanted this feature and why did they want this? If they want something unread, add a feature to make something unread once read. – mstephan, on December 22, 2008 15:16

mstephan reported a problem in Expedia on November 18, 2008 16:34:
Expedia Does not Care about CustomersI have had MAJOR problems with Expedia. In August they changed a flight on me, so I had to cancel it. They said they would refund in a month. (Call 2 hrs). A month later I called them to see where the refund was. They said it would come in 2 months. (Call 1 hour). In 2 months I called and they said they were trying to get a hold of the airline. (Call 1 hour). The Next day I called again and the called the airline and then another airline, and then said I'd receive my refund in 3 months. (Call 2 hours). 6 hours later I still have no Money, and have doubts I ever will. Expedia does not follow through and does NOT look out for their customers.
